Car Time!
Posted by Goatfry on July 05 2008 cars
I was drawing a silly face in paint out of boredom while talking to my sister about the store or something. (pictured at the bottom)

then she was like "Hey that kinda looks like one of those cars from the movie Cars"

so i drew it into a car. The thing coming out of the side is a cup-holder holding a fire exinguesher (sp?) The stick at the bottom is the kick-stand cause cars need kickstands.

I consider myself pretty pro when it comes to art.

Comments
it has windows, but they're the kind of windows you put in a house, not a car.

My car is special though. It has a nose too =D

Bands: ><, everything BUT Jonas Brothers :O

Everything looks good, but the left wheel is a little messy. Sharpen it up a little.
I like how the green fits so well with the gray.

Very um.. interesting picture ^^.

This is really awesome. I can't possibly express how much talent it took to make this. It made my heart sing and my eyes opened to new potentials and the beauty of this world; not only in nature, but in our own humanly creations. I'll have to give some SUPER PRO pointers for this one!

- The tires are wicked slick, and the bus is extra-cool lowrider style, but you may have needed a bit more detail on the brake mechanism behind the hubcaps of the tires. Every little detail counts!
-The spoiler looks awesome, but I'd give it just a bit more upward tilt in the front. It's not an artistic thing; but more of a realistic detail. Better tilt would give it better aerodynamics.
-The nose is awesome, but the shading on the gravel road under it is just a tiny bit off-centered.
-Most fire extinguishers have a little tag tied onto it explaining how to use it, but it seems to be missing on this one. It's nitpicky, I know, but for the sake of making this picture feel all the more real, I would have put that tag in view.

And wow, that's about all I can spot in this pic. I would say something about the cupholders on the outside of the bus, (a bit unconventional) but you've made me a serious believer in the potential of outer cupholders. I give this pic a 10/10. best thing since the creation of art itself.
Bands: Conformity for the purpose of conforming is bad for you. I listen to what i like

Thank you for your amazing comment and awesome tips. I will apply these not only to my art, but also to my life, job, family and breakfast.

I'd like to point out your error concerning the Fire Extinguishers: There is indeed an instruction label. There are no words on it, it is simpley a sticker in a slight Shield-Shape.

The shield is suppose to explain the use: This does NOT help in the case of a fire, its for defence, namely self-defence. The fire extinguisher is placed strategically OUTSIDE the car incase you are carjacked. In this event, you simpley use it as a blunt weapon and pummel your agitator.
