 I got it. One doesn't realize how huge a difference a larger monitor makes until they get one. (especially widescreens).Maple chars are a lil fatter, but still quite reasonable. I don't find it majorly noticeable. 1680x1050 ftw. Now I just have to re-render some of my graphics at the new resolution and aspect ratio.  If things seem a bit dark, that's because I had to photoshop it a bit as the camera settings weren't quite right and the picture turned out quite grainy. It's not that dark though. Comments

Sorry, I've been staring at this picture for quite a few minutes yet again and I seem to have developed another question. I hope that this question doesn't seem as stupid as the last... What's that spiffy looking black gizmo to the immediate right of the speaker on the top of your desk above your monitor but to the immediate left of the air conditioner? It seems to have antennae like some advanced communication device or something...

I know, when I bought my new monitor 1920 x 1200 I was blown away by how much of a difference it makes!
And yeah all the maple characters get stretched

Lmao. Nice comp. I really agree about the monitor. I have a 24" and I love it. Does everything really great. 1920x1200 =]]. But it makes maple more blurry cuz it maple only runs in 600x480 or w/e. I would really freakin love it if you could change reso. on maple, although that would make it unfair to ppl with huge monitors. xP

I would really freakin love it if you could change reso. on maple, although that would make it unfair to ppl with huge monitors. xP" Well, you can use the nvidia control panel (If you have an nvidia graphics card) to either make it stop stretching so it's a square taking up as much space on the screen as possible without stretching, or to be completely unscaled up at all. (so that it doesn't stretch larger at all). That way it would appear somewhat smaller since it would be showing at it's original 800x600 with black borders around.
