The first thing you'll want to do is edit your profile (goto your Profil3 page via the ID card icon, then click on where you can upload a profile pic, input your location and other info. Please note that your location will only be shown if you put something in the city field. So if you want your location to be kept private, leave city blank.

Once you've done that, you might want to setup your players list. On your Profil3 page on the left column, look for My Players and click on . Here you can add a player for each game/server. Profil3 has a search function which allows gamers to find other players. So for example you could find another level 20-30 sorcerer in the Xavius - Alliance server for World of Warcraft. This is a cool way to meet other gamers both on and offline.

After that, the sky's the limit. Look for your friends, search for new friends or put up some pics of yourself, in-game screens, videos, blogs or whatever else you'd like.

Pics, videos and blogs are an essential way for your friends and guild members to get to know the real you. Put up real life or in game pics, videos and talk about your real life or MMO day. All of these can be seen by your friends and guild members and will help them to get to know you better and make life more enjoyable.

Profil3.com isn't just about games, it's also about getting to know the people you play with. To help you get to know people better, you can upload pics of yourself, you having fun with friends/family, screenshots of you in game events, levelling up, on quests and more. As long as it's clean, appropriate and something that you feel will help others to get to know you, then post it!

In game videos are a great source of inspiration. Seeing higher level players do great things or take on bosses is what keeps many MMO gamers going. But you're not limited to just game videos, you can also upload videos of yourself, friends/family or other things you find interesting.

Post a blog when you want to share something about your real life or MMO day. Whether you failed a test, had a fight with a friend (or someone asked you out!), had a bad day at work or you finally got to level 70, posting a blog on Profil3 is a great way to let your friends and Guild members know what's going on in your life.

Just like in an online game, in order to join a guild on Profil3.com, you must be invited. Generally you should be part of a guild that you're a member of in game. You are free to PM a Guild Master (designated by ) and request that they send you an invitation, but they are not obligated to invite you.

If nobody from your in game guild has setup a guild on Profil3, you can do so by clicking on the icon on the left side of your Profil3 page where it says "Guilds". Select the game, server, guild name, add a bit of info about your guild and submit a header pic of your guild if you have one. All of this info can be edited later, so don't worry if you don't have a pic or you make a typo with the info or title.

There are currently 3 ranks in a guild -- master, adviser and member. The guild master () is the person who sets up the guild and can configure the guild, invite members and is the only one that can promote or demote other members. The adviser () can invite other members and configure the guild. Members don't have any special privileges aside from being able to post in the guild forum.

Your Profil3 is like your personal homepage where people can find out more about who you are in real life and online. To start with, you may want to submit your players so that other people can find you. For example, someone could find you by doing a search for all level 20-30 Rogues in WoW in a specific server. This is a great way to meet others online, meet up with them in game and get to know them better that way.

By default, we don't list where you live. This information is only made available when you post it in your profile. Always be careful when posting private information. Do not ever share your personal info with anyone on this site, including admins. No admin will ever ask for personal information.
