The most interesting and useful parts of the simulator require a calculator. I finished enough of it to make a gui (which was a learning experience for me). Unfortunately, I currently do not have the means to produce a windows gui so this preview runs only on OSX. Don't worry though, the non gui code is portable so there will be Windows previews, and even Linux ones in the future.

A few notes:
• I cannot make universal binaries, only ppc ones. However, it should run under Rosetta.
• It may not run on versions of Mac OSX older than 10.3.9. Please let me know if it doesn't.

For those of you fortunate to have a mac, please test it and let me know if there are any bugs or problems.

Awesome that will be soo cool!

And Magic Accuracy confuses me. ><

But I think I am onto something new, totally opposite from that of which was in my thread, where Int Adds accuracy and Luck stabalizes it.

For instance every time you press the magic button, a situation similar to damage is made. You need to hit x amout of points in order to touch the monster. Well you have your Int wich is the attack and then your Luck is like mastery.

So for Intless mages you have a low attack (20) x Extremely high mastery since your Intless, therefore you can hit it but with an occasional miss.
And for Luckless you have a high attack but low mastery (4) so you miss, but hit it at an early level.
This is another reason why Luckless mages begin to hit monsters before Regular, but stop missing after Regular.
Add in some randomizers and algorythems (butchered spelling) and you got yourself the accuracy formula.
Honestly it is the most plausible I have heard, because Luck DEFINTELY affects magic accuracy.

Hope I helped. (Doubt it.) And trust me I am no math wiz I will probably get like a 90 in Precalc (bleh) but I can sure as hell speak my opinion.

Looks like great work Omar, nice one. Too bad I don't have a Mac to test it out. What else is in the pipelines?

Now now, isn't it more fun guessing =)

Kuro and I bought a windows computer on ebay earlier this week so there should be a Windows version in the near future.
