The Best Tunafish Sandwich - delicious, food, sandwich, tuna

I hope you profil3rs like tuna, because thats what we're about to make o.o. I'm gonna share the recipe for the best tuna sandwich you'll ever eat. My mom always used to make her tuna sandwiches this way, and as far as I'm concerned, it's the best way to do it.

Try to get the tuna packed in olive oil, not water, if you can. (I'm referring to canned tuna. If you have leftover cooked tuna steaks, then by all means use them instead of the canned tuna.) The brand Trader Joe's has a pretty good tuna packed in olive oil. The reason you want olive oil instead of water is that the tuna packed this way is much more flavorful. Also, you do not need to add as much mayo.

Okay, what you'll need is:
---1 (6 ounce) can of tuna fish
---1/4 Cup of mayonnaise (eyeball it - you can also replace this with two tablespoons of mayo and add about 1/3 a cup of cottage cheese, I just don't like cottage cheese...)
---1/4 of an onion, chopped finely
---1 celery stalk, chopped finely
---1 Tablespoon of capers, optional (My mom uses them o.0)
---Juice of half of a lemon, optional (Makes it taste better, but you can leave it out)
---Pinch or two of dill, optional (I just like to add it if we have it - you can use pickles if you want. I usually use pickles anyway)
---2 Tbsp minced fresh parsley, optional (Use it if you have it)
---1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard

Slices of French bread, lightly toasted (Makes it look a lot more delicious. >=D)

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. If you used the oil-packed tuna, then don't drain the oil! If you don't have the kind packed in oil, then go ahead and use the one in water. Drain it, and use a bit more mayonnaise. Serve it on toast, or normal bread. You can also serve it with lettuce and tomatoes if that's how you like.
