I'm a 2nd chair violin for chamber in brooklyn tech high school in nyc. and on my spare time [when im really bored-.-] i'll go on the piano or guitar. and 5th grade made me hate the clarinet.... |

Erm... I have play violin for the past 5 and a half years, but I plan on quitting in like quitting in 2 years because I don't have a future in it.
Well, I played for the Beck Junior High Symphony orchestra in Katy, Texas. I used to play piano in like SECOND grade. >_>

Psh...Clarinet is amazing. I admit that I hated the Bb Clarinet in 5th grade, too, and switched to Bass Clarinet in 6th. I've played the Bass for the most amount of years, now. I've also experienced the joy of the Eb Clarinet, Alto Clarinet, and Contralto Clarinet. The weird ones are so much funner to play, me thinks. I switched back to the Bb Clarinet my Junior year of High School (this year that just ended) since my band director felt that the other Bb Clarinet players weren't good enough and we already had enough very talented obscure Clarinets. I was 1st Chair in our Honor Band which managed to get a superior at competition for about 11ish straight years. I hope to one day pick up the Cello, too. I just got my nerve surgery, so I will be able to feel the strings in my left hand now! =D
0.o This was a lot longer than I anticipated. Instead of reading all of that, you could just say that I play all persuasions of the Clarinet. =D

Guilds: Arcadia, Art of War Groups: Amateur Chefs, Anti-Hackers United, Bera Player I was playing recorder from when I was 6 till about 10, then switched to flute (as you do) And picked up the tin whistle at 12. It was my mother's flute, so I haven't been able to play since I moved out of home couple of years ago now, but I still enjoy my tin whistle when I have a bit of spare time (though granted I am a little rusty)
I was in all school bands I could be in intermediate  Irish band, Jazz band and Orchestra, and was picked for the selectively small band for the school play. I won Top musician that year (500 studen intermediate school) so I guess that isn't bad Joined the local Youth Orchestra in high school, but the conductor (as my mother informs me, most are) was a royal prick, and I quit after 2 years.I had a bass guitar (electric) and a Clarinet at some point but I had to sell them =/ Instruments I'd rather play but don't have the time/money to learn ( ) : Chello, Acoustic bass guitar, Soprano Sax and Oboe

I don't play for school or anything, I play for fun. I USED to be in a band, but our vocalist moved, and it kinda fell apart after that. :/ I want to learn how to play the steel drums and how to work a synthesizer.  I play horrible sounding guitar.
 I want a drum set though.

It looks KeWl! ^_^ I play the Drums, And I'm loveing it! ^_^ I used to play the Acustic Guitar, but I wasn't enjoying it... T.T Drums are my passion and most loved instrument, Seeing as I'm always beating on stuff. (Not on people!) T.T ^_^ I'm currently learning how to use the top hat properly. (You know, the way you push it up and down at the right time to make that noise! Sorry... ) But I'm currently unable to play, since my Mother's cat is about to have Kittens in the room where my drums are. T.T -ARGH!- I can't wait to get back to playing, so I can begain playing for* my Church's Youth group. YAY! ^_^ YAY! - Little preacher man.

Hmm, this group seems to have members to play more then the usual Guitar and Piano which is good because then the group is more weird and interesting but unfortunately I play Electric guitar. I use to play Acoustic Guitar but that was only for the first year when I started and the whole purpose was to see if I like to play guitar or not and build callus on my finger tips due to Acoustics using heavier gage strings then electrics. Well I wanted to play Guitar ever since about grade eight when I actually discovered music and good bands.
Always wanted to play something heavy yet melodic with insane playing speed or something so deep, angry, HARSH and JUST SOMETHING that came out right of f%$ing hell. That's when I discovered SlipKnoT. But don't get me wrong, i love to play some quiet acoustic songs but I play mostly heavy stuff. You probably think I'm some loser by now that is 10 years old, knows nothing about music and only wants to make annoying loud noise and is probably emo, well I'm not 10 but 16, I know quite a bit about music, I hate emo's and I just happen to be born with the taste for Metal genre music. Thank you. I have been playing for almost 2 years now, and I love guitar so far. I would show you a video of me playing like the guy here already did but my web cam is currently broken up into four pieces and I play on a Epiphone SG which I'm embarrassed of and don't like to show off but I plan on getting a Jackson, ESP or some other Electric Guitar this summer for my birthday.I want the ESP KH-2!!. Ok, so yeah, conclusion.. I play guitar and I haven't tried to play to anything else but my friend's drum set and my other friend's Synthesizer. Ok, this turned out a bit longer then I expected it to turn out. bye.

Violist-unappreciated but at least have myself a ranking in the state I live in (aka AllState, Atlanta Symphony, etc.). No competition whatsoever, and where there is competition the players are beastly =O
Piano, just for kicks cuz my mom won't let me quit but I've done it for maybe 8 years now and I've come too far to quit anyway.

I'm the first chair violinist at Faribault High in MN. Been playing for nine years. I also play mandolin, and I am starting to work on the guitar and bass (electric fretless).
I play cornet/trumpet. Ive only been playing for about 2 years though. =[
I play bass, electric and acoustic guitar, and piano. I suck at the piano though!
Been playing the guitar for two or three years now, I'm never gonna set my guitar down =D
