Kirby was cheap ass in the N64 one. A few years ago, when I never played the N64 ssb I played my friend using fox, he beat me using the up+b move. Anyways, my favorite char is probably pikachu, cuz when I played N64 with the other ppl on reg ssb, I usually won
Anyways, my best char is sheik/fox. I haven't played in a year, so I doubt I can still do fox's mid air up+a finisher

Captain Falcon is awesome in N64. Fast, and has good combat attacks. Too bad his defense is pretty low.

1st of all kirby is only good in the n64 version, thats it.
And my favorite character in melee would probably be marth because he has a strong smash and he is very agile.

I don't know why, but these two ended up as my best somehow. PS: i suck.
