I am a bit angry today. And I am going to just share a little rant with anyone who reads this. You have probably heard one of these rants before, and I am sure mine is no different. Regardless, I am angry so I will post this anyway. <rant> I am angry at the selfish jerks who decided it was reasonable to kill-steal me on the 0.00000000001% chance of getting a Hwabi Throwing Star.
This is the third time this has happened this week. If you know me from Bera, I frequently patrol Hall of Mushroom maps in hope of finding a Blue Mushmom. At which point I call out to my friends and guildmates to join me as I complete the "Eliminating Blue Mushmom" quest. I treat this as a lovely little party quest; everyone who joins me gets in on a free chance at a 60% scroll. When I am done, I leave. I do not look for bonus Blue Mushmom spawns; I complete my quest and enjoy the rewards with my friends. However it appears that not everyone from Bera is acquainted with the concept of "sharing". Each time, I tried to reach fair communication with the individuals, however I did not receive a fair response. Or perhaps it is fair to say that I did not receive any response.

What is wrong with these people? There was no respect shown for finding the monster first. There was no indication that they knew I was addressing them (and without a drop of insult at that). They all decided to steal the kill.
The first time, maybe 2 days ago, the Bishop actually addressed me after slaying the monster, telling me that I was unfortunate because I hadn't killed it before she arrived. I then explained the details of sharing to her, and she apologized to me (how nice of her to do so) and then attempted to reassert that it was my fault for not killing the monster as soon as possible. She left at that point, and I searched for another Blue Mushmom in hopes of not leaving with empty hands. Fortunately, I found another one (although I saw her two more times, she did not say anything), and I called to my friends immediately. My hopes were up, and I was relieved. Until an Ice/Lightning Mage came in and started attacking before anyone arrived. I tried to communicate with this one as well, but he did not answer. I then attempted to take the kill, as I had already lost once that night. I failed, due to my character's insufficient accuracy. He still said nothing. And again, I searched for another monster, turning up with nothing, but I did see the Mage again, at which point he said "hi". I did not reply politely.
The third incident happened just a little while ago. This time, the Sniper asked me if he could complete his quest. I replied with "That depends" (And it did depend, I wasn't certain of whether or not all my party members could complete the quest at all). At this point, he started attacking. My friends were present, however we were having difficulties assembling the party, so we asked the Sniper to stop. He did not. Again, my friends and I lost out, because they wanted to reason with him, rather than fight over it. He got the kill, and then thanked us for letting him do so, and for the fame drops he received.

What the **** is wrong with these people? Why is this happening now, when it has never happened to me before? Why do these individuals refuse to share, even with their own friends? Do these people really have friends of their own? Why am I getting punished for doing something good? I'm kinda pissed off. </rant>
