NOTICE: As of April 30th: A user on the character Serenity382 logged on and began to expel all guild members. The user succeeded in expelling around 20 members until I logged into my main account and expelled that user. So, if you have recently been expelled from the guild, please let me or the jrs know and you will be added back. HOWEVER, the character named Serenity382 cannot be ranked as a jr ever again.

Hello everyone, it's time for the weekly (sorta) Basilmarket Guild News!

Our top story for the week is that we finally completed our first guild quest! (see picture 1) It was a tough struggle. HeroXSwordz almost let us down, but he came through in the end. Cece (MintBandit) exploded Ergoth with great force and it was over before we knew it. Congrats to us and thanks to everyone who helped out!

In other news, Kathy (xoAnimeFan), job advanced to Chief Bandit! A big congrats to her for reaching such a high goal! When asked what skill she maxed first, she answered "meso explosion." She even demonstrated her meso explosion powers (see pictures 2 & 3)!

Also, we have many new members to the guild: Ajay (RealMusiq), Clement (Jibsterr), Richard (Yasuandit), TAL (CursedTAl), Stan (Amberlin), Steezedup, and xinizodiac. Welcome to the Basilmarket guild, guys! I'm sure that many of them are enjoying it so far. Some of them are enjoying it so much that they demanded that I meet them in FM because they wanted their picture to be in this week's Basilmarket Guild News story. So see picture #4 for some of our newer members.

Special tasks have begun! What is a special task? Well, it's something extra that you do for the guild. Some special tasks are so special that they could only be trusted to be run by people very close to me. However, the people in charge of special tasks can always get help from the other guild members ; they don't have to do it all by themselves. Audrey (iMooatCows/ FREEZEPOP) is now in charge of Guild Recruiting and membership. She keeps track of all current members and she is in charge of adding new members to the guild. She believes that when it comes to expelling members from the guild, they should be expelled by a majority vote. Mike (Cycroix) is in charge of Guild Events. He tries to ensure that there is an event at least once a week. He organizes the events himself although, he's always asking for suggestions from the other guild members in the guild forum. Michelle (Foala) is in charge of the guild funds. She will be the guild treasurer in the summer. She'll help me out by keeping track of all of the guild income and guild expenses.

Another new Special Task position is the Guild News Editor. This will be the person that writes up the Guild News about once a week. I'm doing it this first time, but the position is completely open for anyone to apply for. Also, if anyone else has any ideas about Special Guild Tasks, please post them!
