Well the Southern Flag represents the people in the Civil war that were basically fighting to make slavery legal again. To me the southern flag is offensive to black people, just as the Swastika to Jews.

I wouldn't compare the flag to the swastika. The rebel flag has more than one face. It all comes down to the person and what they want the flag to represent. I have a rebel flag on the hood of my truck, and to have people call me a racist is jnly a show of ignorance. This is now, not long ago. If I was wearing a white sheet with a white pillow case on my head then people would have reason to persocute me.
In short, the flag stands for the courage to stand up for what we believe in. It has a past, but its close to the same logic of : You great-great-great-great-great grandfather murdered some so that makes you and everyone else a murderer.

The swastika represents the SLAUGHTER of over 6 million jews. I'd be j
offended by that too.

Exactly. The southern flag was for the freedom of the south like the stars and stripes was for the entire 13 colonies during the revolution.
