Wrong Shafter. x = 5cm. The triangle is a 3, 4, 5 Right Triangle, which means that if the hyp. is 5cm, and one of the legs is 4cm, then the other leg is 3cm. Likewise, if the legs are 3cm and 4 cm, like in the diagram, then the hyp. is 5cm.

If you wish to solve it mathimatically, then you'd do this:

(3^2)+(4^2)=x^2
9+16=x^2
25=x^2
Take the square root of both sides (no button for that symble on my computer)
x=5

=D
