It's strange that threads don't seem to get stickied any more unless they're written by someone famous. If Aznseal were to write a good thread it'd probably get stickied right away. >_>

I have to go to the hairdresser and I'm not in for it. A 30 minute ride, 90 minutes work, 30 minutes back, cook dinner for my brother. Pft. @_@ There's only one hairdresser who can do something with my Hermione Granger hair.

I don't like feminists either, but it's chivarly that prevents them of being targeted. Guys still don't hit on girls.

I find that "our foremother had to suffer because of YOU now treat me like a queen" logic the biggest nonsense there is. >_> Feminism.... People think I"m feminist as soon as I post I disagree with that guy, but they are too quick to judge. Women are discriminating themselves; they want chilvalry and "a true gentleman always pays for the lady's drinks", but when someone complains about that "OMG you're such a sexist".

I wish people would get real for a change... and define things. I don't like it when people buy me drinks and don't want me to pay them back, but when I refuse a drink they immediately label me as feminist.

It's confusing. Too guys it's got to be confusing too. Some girls get mad when you hold a door open to them.

Knight Rider is such a strange show. First of all there are better ways to enforce the law than putting a guy with VERY long legs and a fighting instinct in an animatronic car. Second of all KITT's personality and programming doesn't fit on a 6.5GB hard drive.
Thirdly a tall guy can't beat Karate masters in one blow. (Michael does XD)
But it's GREAT. I love David Hasselhof, I love Devon (he's soooo British), I love Bonnie, I love RC3 and I love KITT most of all! He's such a nice car and has a great sense of humour.
Team Knight Rider never appealed to me. I can't remember much of it exept that KITT wasn't part of it (the car wasn't; he was locked up in a server somewhere and was called "Shadow"; something KITT would have been pissed about) and that there was a whole team of cars and even planes, I think. And no Devon! Nothing beats Michael and KITT. The new Knight Riders (there's going to be a third version) suck!

There should be a site with episodes of old series, but I can't run the videos and only saw Team Knight Rider on it. Meh.

Old Brokity got wireless Internet and its got such a strong antenna up its ass that reception is great. I Mapled succesfully on it today and found an untradeable 15(!)% Scroll for Gloves for DEX. I didn't know those things existed. o_O"

Darn.

I made a thread on basil which was moved by some mod and I got a not so pleasant PM about t (the PM was made by a bot, btw)..... It was about that winsock reset stuff. The only way to get to reset winsock is by "countermanding" Microsoft. I'm not allowed to reset winsock because apparently people do that to change their IP addresses. That means I'd either have to try illegally or I should semi-quit Maple again. Arrgh, why do I have to have the ONLY computer with Vista that totally hates Maple?

Nobody gave me a way to reset it exept by making a .bat file. No clue how to make a file like that. I kno .bat files can pretty much play with the basic "instincts" of your computer. I don't feel safe about it.

I've got to ask my nerdy friend.

Found yet another solution, or actually someone else found it. I have to reset winsock. Star > run > cmd > netsh winsock reset. Yay! BUT HOW THE HELL ARE THOSE THINGS CALLED ON A DUTCH LAPTOP?! XD When I press "start" there's no button called "run" or something like that and my father's computer (I'm not on my laptop at the moment) doesn't seem to know winsock.

And by the way.

An Old Brokity!

It's not THE Old Brokity, but one of his brothers. I don't have a digital camera, nor a phone with a good camera function, so I had to Google "Packard Bell imedia" XD In the scase of my computer the soundboxes are mounted lower on the screen, by the way. With the boxes that high it looks a bit... unbalanced. But it's pretty and blue, right? Mine's a little faded, but still blue.

Meh, I did everything Basil said; checking if my DirectX was version 10 (it is), if it would work if I ran it as an administrator (I am one, but I picked it again anyway), told my Firewall Maple was safe and tries to set Maple's compatibility mode to Vista, but it does not go higher than Windows XP service pack 2. (stupid; XP 3 just came out and there ARE people who can select Vista) No effect!

So it was time for nearly the last resort. I uninstalled and removed MapleStory from E: and am using the downloader to download and install it in one go on the C:. My last resort will be using the InstallShield Wizard to put it on the C:. If that doesn't work I'm having a problem. I've got half an hour left before I test it out...! Time enough to make a small slideshow and read a piece on what were they.... ship's logs in the year 1700.

I have to make a confession.

Well, actually two. I spelled the came of the GBA game I recommended to you wrong; it´s Konami Krazy Racers, with a K in stead of a C. Sorry!
And the second is that a few days after I wrote that thing about my brothers and Pro Evolution Soccer I kind of found myself playing Konami Krazy Racers telling the computer this:

"GOE! POINT YOUR HOMING MISSILES AT SOMEONE ELSE!"
"Drive, Pawa, drive!"
"You stupid statue in a car."
"$&%&*^$ Lava. ><*"

In case you have not found the game yet: One of the coureurs really IS a statue driving a car; he's called Moai and he's a... yeah, a Moai. (a statue of Easter Island) I tell you that game is so nuts it's brilliant!

Nvm, I'm the same about Karate, though my voice growns lower rather than higher when I'm fighting...

I rebuilt the room this morning because the Medion just REFUSED to work and I don't want to constantly turn it on and off. I gave the Kaputter a shove and I'm using it now. It's working very, very well. We started it 18 hours ago and it's still working like a dream! Maybe because it is standing more than 1 meter away from the nearest wall. It used to be about 6 inches away from a heater before. (a radiator, I mean, not a gass heater)

Mindstormer, Dante, Syko, mypies and a million other people think it's a power source problem, because it seems to get "tired" after some time, needs "rest" and then works fine again for a couple of hours. It also breaks down when another apparatus that takes a lot of energy, like the CD ROM player, is activated. My brother effectively let the thing die while there was still a CD in it, so it took us a few days to get it to work again.

I know everything I need to know about the power souce, the Wattage and all that stuff.... but I can't install a new one. I think I should be able to do it myself, because it's just some kind of puzzle, but my family won't let me. Old Brokity is rusty from the inside and they fear that it will break soon anyway, whether I install a new power source or not. A new power source would cost about 30 bucks (not of top quality) and a keyboard also 30 bucks, but they DO allow me to buy the keyboard and not the power cource. o_O"

I want to call my Pirate Griddlebone (should fit) or if it's taken Mungojerry (though I'm pretty sure THAT's taken) and if THAT is taken Mistopheles. Not meaning to name myself after the devil (Mephistopheles), but after the (very friendly) devil cat from the musical of Cats (Mistoffelees). Unfortunately Mistoffelees doesn't fit and his second name, Quaxo, isn't Piraty. If Mistophees is taken too I'll take Diavolo, the Dutch name of the devil cat. XD

CBs are somehow big buds on basil, I don't know how they (or we) do it, but exept for MeJust, who's a little stubborn so now and then, and a CB who sad every CB who does NOT ME is not a CB but a tramp we're getting along wel.

Pf, yeah, people assume that because my character is tanned I myself am tanned too. Hec, do they think Syko's a smurf or so? They shouldn't take things on Basil so seriously. >_>
My Dad thinks the computer is okay, now I still have to order it.

Computers you can build yourself ARE cheaper than custom build computers. My younger brother wanted to do that, but the computer he wanted was too expensive after all.
