Well, over the past few days, BMCM's been kinda sloooooooooow. What's up with that, guys? Do you guys have a lot of work or something? Let's liven this place up a bit! WOO!
So, today after church we had a luncheon thing. The theme was "Cultural" so people made all kinds of food and let me tell you, it was de-li-CIOUS!! It was so yummy I wish I coulda taken some of the old ladies who made the food and stuffed them in my kitchen. But then my kitchen would be crowded, so...yea. My mom made some grilled Jerk chicken. Me, being the polite and considerate person I am, decided not to take any of the chicken at the luncheon since we had some at home. So I can't really tell you how it tasted, sorry  . Anywho, after we all stuffed our faces, there was a dance portion. There were these 2 girls (I think they were Hawaiian, idk) who were doin various dances from different places. They did some from Hawaii, some from Tahiti, and even from New Zealand! (AKA Flight of the Conchord Land) They were freakin amazing and I loved their outfits. I wish I knew how they got them. I would so pay money for them, that's how cute they were. Okay, so then their mentor (this older lady, looked to be about 40-50ish?) decided to teach people how to hula. Only thing is, she basically forced people to dance. I was like, "Uh uh, homie. You besta back up" but some old lady pushed me onto the makeshift dance floor anyway (yes, my church is full of old people. Like, 60% of the church population are over 60 or something.) I guess it was kinda fun but it was seriously embarrassing in the beginning. I think I woulda enjoyed it more if I wasn't surrounded by old people watching me... So, yah. That was that. Then they made the guys go up and do it and I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING! God, some guys really have no rhythm, man! They crowned this old guy the "Big Kahuna" and gave him a straw hat and a coconut bra (he really enjoyed that thing...). It was all in good fun and I had a great time. Now I just hope my attempt at hula dancing doesn't appear on Youtube...
So, yeah. That's all I have to say about that. How was your weekend, people? Let's get this place pumped up, man!!

I read it Floph bud. It sounded like a lot of fun, and they came all the way from Hawaii too. I would've understood if we lived in Cali or something but man. I'd love to see your hula dancing.

@Flophbud: No you would not like to see my hula dancing. Believe me, you wouldn't. I was not very comfortable shakin around a bunch of old people. Don't get me wrong, they're nice and everything, but it was still aaaawkwaaard.
