As you guys know, we're starting t throw around ideas for how we'll make GPQ work.
Now, I refuse to bring in people JUST for gpq, because if we can't finish without the intervention of people who wont always be here, that's just an epic phailure.
With this in mind, we currently meet the following requirements:
Ranged
Max Tele
DS/Haste
Noob (Adding my warrior or my rogue for this purpose)
Is that everything? Well, in any case, I want to establish a few ground rules:
1) This is the most important. If you suffer from the disability of being unable to follow instructions from whoever is leading, you will not be brought along. That means no spamming in stage 1, or the offering stages. If you must talk here, whisper the person you're talking to (unless they're giving instructions)
2) In shikgu, we found it makes things a LOT easier for whoever is leading the run if EVERYTHING that can be picked up in the main room of the offering stage is picked up by ONE person. For this reason, most people are encouraged to either wait outside or take off your pet looting items.
NOTE: IF YOU KILL ANY OF THE BLACK/MYST KNIGHTS IN THIS STAGE, *DO NOT* LEAVE THE ROOM UNTIL EVERYTHING HAS BEEN PICKED UP BY THE QUEST LEADER
3) it's not necessary that you're 'pro' at gpq. Nowever, if you've never been before, Read this:GPQ Study Guide
If anything is still confusing, then we're happy to explain as we go along.
4) Pickups in the bonus stage. It's been suggested that ALL pickups be turned over to mein order to be used for expanding the guild. However, one decent drop would, realistically, be enough to expand the guild to 50 (or maybe 60). This is NOT a rule set by me. IF you want to donate, then you can. You are not obligated to do so.
5) all other guild rules apply.
I don't want to be strict here, but we can't work together as a team and finish this quest if people don't come in with a friendly attitude. GPQ is fun. I'm used to them where everyone starts screwing around when they have nothing to do. This is ok, as long as it's not disruptive.
As for times, post here and let me know when it's convenient for you. I was thinking of maybe holding a regular run every saturday or sunday night. Maybe 2 or 3 if we are as efficient as possible. Please bear in mind though, that I personally live in England, and on the BST timezone. If you want to gpq at like, 7 PM PST regularly, i'm gonna be pissy lol. I'm not saying we won't accomodate you, but think about it: How annoying would it be to be excluded from GPQing when you OWN the guild in question?
I hope this isn't all too strict, post and give me other thoughts, as well as convenient times for you. All input is appreciated
