At the end of the game after you defeat the one-winged angel sephiroth, cloud trips out and goes through this tunnel thing.
Near the end of the tunnel, the game gives a close-up on this yellow orb thing.
No one, not even advent children and dirge of cerberus, has even referred to it in the game. WHAT IS IT!? It's driving us ff7 fans nuts!
here are some theories on what the orb is supposed to be.
1. It's Holy materia.
2. It's the planet's soul.
3. It's cloud's innermost part of his mind.
4. It's the moon or it's meteor.
5. It's a future glimpse of the planet after all that is bad has been eradicated.
6. Aeris in Orb form.
7. It's the sun that cloud sees when he dies and goes to heaven.
8. It's a Materia Orb.
9. It's the Zodiac Stone of Cancer.
