Click on the address book and it should show your wii code. You also need a friend code btw to play someone. Not that it matters though since everyone is on right now. I haven't been able to play one online match yet.

It's better to go out and actually meet newer and better players than playing with the same friends with items on (which while fun does take the overall skill role out of the game).
