Intro: Yeah so I just joined this group because I FRIKIN LOVE Super Smash Bros and all the current versions. And now that I've joined, I should get acquainted now with this group ^_^.
Actual Post: So, when SSBB comes out December 3rd, what character will you play with? If you don't know yet, look at this link here :

Probably Ike, Fox, Pit, or Metaknight...As you can see I like characters with swords. Swords=ranged melee attacks
I just want Fox since I never got a chance to get good with him for SSB or SSBM. I always liked his style but I never owned either of the games until recently when I got SSBM. The competitive scene for SSBM is sort of gone so I'm just waiting for Brawl now.

You know technically Pit only gets swords when his bow like breaks in half. So he's still "technically" using his bow the whole time.

Pit can change it from swords to a bow and vice versa any time he wants. It says so on the at link
Plus from all the videos all of Pit's melee attacks involve his swords. So it is most likely that the bow is only used for his special attacks and his swords are used for his tilits, aerials and smashes.

I suppose, but I'm pretty sure that it takes time to switch from bow to sword or vice versa. If Pit goes up to a character at like, point blanc range and attacks, I think it'll still be a bow until he MANUALLY switches it. But I'm ASSUMING that because I'm too lazy to read the site XD.
You know, I've never played with Fox in SSMB, I tried him once and a lot of combos were kinda easy to make. I still prefer Shiek though. IMO Shiek > Fox

I'll stay with Luigi (My current main), I"ll suck ass though if they modify his moves =(
