Well that's better than nothing. I hope this grows bigger than our favourite BasilMarket.To the point:
What schools do you all go to?
I go to the High School of Tikkurila. In Finland you're not required to go to High School like in the States. When you finish 9th grade you're given 3, well actually, 4 options.
1: High School - Gives you common knowledge and graduation opens doors to further education and work.
2: Some sort of professional school - The place where all the car mechanics go
Nah, you use your hands more than your brain. When you finish, you'll have a job ready, unless you want further education.3: 10th Class - Repeating 9th, kinda.
4: Unemployment - Good if you've just won the lottery and want to play games all day.
I'm on my 2nd year now. I'm doing fine. I'm going to graduate in about a year. We have to take final exams on atleast 5 subjects and now I think mine will be: Finnish, English, Italian, Swedish, Mathematics (A level) and Geography.
