Heh, awesome site. How many of us are there now, 5?

Well that's better than nothing. I hope this grows bigger than our favourite BasilMarket.

To the point:

What schools do you all go to?

I go to the High School of Tikkurila. In Finland you're not required to go to High School like in the States. When you finish 9th grade you're given 3, well actually, 4 options.

1: High School - Gives you common knowledge and graduation opens doors to further education and work.
2: Some sort of professional school - The place where all the car mechanics go

Nah, you use your hands more than your brain. When you finish, you'll have a job ready, unless you want further education.
3: 10th Class - Repeating 9th, kinda.
4: Unemployment - Good if you've just won the lottery and want to play games all day.

I'm on my 2nd year now. I'm doing fine. I'm going to graduate in about a year. We have to take final exams on atleast 5 subjects and now I think mine will be: Finnish, English, Italian, Swedish, Mathematics (A level) and Geography.

That sounds interesting. Where exactly do you go to school (what country?). Do you study any regular subjects like Mathematics and languages, or do you just focus on arts?

Well, I'm Grade 11, in South Africa, and Homeschooled. We are on a system that uses US books and ends in Cambridge International Exams. We do normal exams every six months which get sent in to be marked by the school headquarters. It's definitely a challenge though, but so far I have gotten A's on average all through high school.

I'm going to Brooklyn College in *gasp* Brooklyn. Not the greatest college, but not horrible either. Right now I'm just taking a bunch of required courses.

i go to state university of new york at buffalo, or SUNY UB for short. im going into the 5 yr program to get an electrical engineering BS and an MBA, but i dont apply for that till next year, right now am a sophmore EE BS student

Communal school.. Or whatever its called O_o
8th grade currently.. Just a plain, boring danish school. Moving to a private school at the end of 8th, because my teachers, my parents and the other school thinks Im "gifted".. For some strange reason.

Well first you have to understand the education system here
First is grade school and it takes 8 years to graduate.
Than you have high school that takes 4 years to graduate.
Than you have faculty wich also takes 4 years to graduate.
You can continue education after that if you want.
I'm currently in grade 7!
