Thread starter Where do you like to swim? I personally love to swim in fresh water, rivers and lakes and the like. I used to hate the ocean but ever since I moved near one I've found it's not that bad...I must say that swimming in a pool is my least favorite. Ozone pools aren't that bad, Chlorine sucks though....

Oceans, lakes and all the other outdoor places are pretty much only for recreation...(well for me). But pools are where I train my times and sprints. I'm not too fond of Short-Course pools, I mostly practise at the long courses... Do you swim sprints or what? Do you do competitive swims? or just reacreational?

I used to be competetive back when I was but a weee laddie, Now I'm just and instructor O_o, well I'm trained at least I'm not doing instucting for work right now, hopefully when the summer is over I'll work at one of the pools in my area, I was just asking what ppl's fav places to swim are n_n

there's a huge swimming club down here where i live in FL, and i swam in the most wonderful lake in Italy (Lake Garda, you should Google Image it) and the nastiest, dirtiest, slimiest, most fucking smelliest lake in the same country. I dive in and it's like sludge, then i touch the bottom with my hands and i feel fish bones and bloody slime.
Enough of that. I have a high school team too.
