-It's a program that allows you to communicate while you're playing games. (Used quite often in MMORPG raids)
What's Hamachi?
-If you have illegal copy of games but you can't play with your buddies on ie. b.net, this program acts as a network to those who join the created network and allows the player with those illegal copy of games to host a network game and allowing others within that network to join. But if you're me and you're on a network that doesn't give you an IP address Hamachi's network gives Ventrilo Servers an extra IP to allow connection.
So with that being said I would like to share to you my personal server which at the moment can only hold 8 people max. (Free Server)
Getting started... Before you start downloading Ventrilo Client, I suggest you download Hamachi first.
Once you have Hamachi installed on the bottom right there should be a triangular icon. CLICK IT! Then join an existing network.
Network Name: WTF PEW PEW PEW OMG (case sensitive fyi)
Network Password: game
Next step... Just install Ventrilo and create your user name, once you've completed that input the following information for the server.
IP: 5.34.131.208 (if you haven't noticed that's the hamachi network IP)
Port Number: 3784
Password: bananabrothers (case sensitive)
There you have it, access to the Ventilo Server. It's up 24/7 unless my computer dies when I'm not around and YOU MUST HAVE HAMACHI on to connect to the server!
BTW the people with Admin to the server is TRHOG, Billadin and myself. So please respect the people who are maintaining it for me when I'm not around. Thanks!
