Seeing as the Ducks eliminated my Nucks :'( I have to say, they ARE quite the skilled team this year. I want PERRY to play for Vancouver. I like Getslaf too, but now he's just starting to piss me off. && SELANNE IS A DOUCHEBAG. I HATE HIM WITH A BURNING PASSION. AKLSDJFLASKDJF.

Okay... congrats to Anaheim, but I have to respond to this one ignorant reporter that covers the hockey news there. I forget her name, and I don't care to look it up.
I think most fans in SoCal were content enough to bask in their Stanley Cup glory, but this biatch took potshots at Detroit after they beat us. One comment among many was the fact that we couldn't be called Hockeytown anymore since we failed to sell out our home playoff games. She then went on to say that Anaheim sold out 3x games in a row. Ooooooooh, 30-something games!!! /sarcasm I am not a hockey elitist, or a Wings elitist, although I LOVE my team. But we sold out several SEASONS in a row, 'kay? Let's see where you are in a few years before you go patting yourself on the back. Remember how small-market Carolina had a hockey rennaisance after making it to the finals? (where we beat them)? They tanked the next year and they went back to not caring, or showing up. It's true the Wings had no sellouts this playoff season. But many people didn't go for the same reason I couldn't: We just couldn't afford it. Detroit is the worst area in the country, economically. It's so bad, that Michigan is 50th out of 50 states in unemployment even considering the western side of the state (Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids etc) is having an economic boom. GM Mike Illitch took a lot of heat for not lowering prices so more people could afford to go. Compare that to the Pistons, who in times past haven't raised their reasonable ticket prices for the playoffs at all. Anyway, GO WINGS and I want to have Stevie Y's babies. Call any time, honey.

I don't like sports reporters/announcers. Half the time, I end up muting the TV, because I get sick of realizing that they are getting paid unreasonable amounts of money for their (usually worthless) opinions.
That, and their voices are annoying.

I know, but you HAVE to admit, Tom Larshaid & John Shorthouse....BEST EVER. Our Radio broadcasters And yes , I HATE HATE HATE CBC play-by-plays...they can't say ANYONE'S name correctly. Piss the hell out of me, they do >=[ LOL @ Announcer that OWNED Avery though way back when :] && Yes, I'm pretty sure Selanne would hate me too

Haha.... I like Sean Avery, but yeah, he's an agitator for sure. But at least he can be an enjoyable agitator, not like that reject Claude Lemieux was. Watch my Wings/Avs video, watch it NOW, MUAHAHAHAHA.
