I'm probably the person that does more than half of these advanced techniques and doesn;t know it. I just do what my friend does. Idk what the moves are called.

IVIoogle likewise, I wanna play against you

link players suicide easily, thats our problem, another problem with link is, hes like the perfect weight for combing a crapload of things

1.) Fast 2.) Got strong smash attacks 3.) I can pull off a couple combos between throws and smashes 4.) Special attacks aren't bad 5.) Pretty good aerial attacks and throws Yah gotta love that lil' bugger.

I'm trying to get the hang of Wavedashing...
I'm only doing so because I made it to the semifinals in an unofficial tournament, and I was pretty confident that I'd win... But then my opponent starts going freakin' PSYCHO on me with Wavedashes, L-Cancels, etc. So now I'm trying to learn these techs for myself. REVENGE. >=(

Link's smashes are fast enough, its just gotta work how you play with its timing, like the back slash delays a bit so so that your opponent is getting up, you can smash forward and if you time it right theyll get hit with the back end and they'll usually pop up a little bit, depend on their damage, then follow into some other moves, easiest would be a Dair (down aerial)
pikachu Im not too partial to but I guess in 4player matches its better off as a character I only seen like two videos of a good pikachu and all characters are more than smash attacks, marth is probably the character that would use a smash the most often due to the tipper from the sword just can equal damage to a babomb, I play wityh link more with areials and his missiles pichu, I only use him when Im with my friend, we're both pichus and we just ruin the stage all characters can be fast, depends on how you play with them, for example, my link can be fast as someone else's fox when fighting and falco's laser can shoot faster than fox's blaster L-cancels and wavedashing is a regular use for me, he's beating you with mind games, part of the playing field good luck mastering them, in a year you should feel how bad you were without them although wavedashing and l-canceling is entirely unnecessary, it helps you move faster but if your mind games can just win it, then it doesnt matter although if you kinda get stuck at getting better with one part, then might as well try to learn something else mind games, skill, technique, playing style, speed, luck

I also have killer aim with shells and bomb-ombs so that helps.
