Prologue [The Devil]
Prologue 1.1 EDIT

There was a boy named Billy Thorne. People feared him because he was born crosseyed and they thought he was the Devil’s child. He had no friends at all. Billy came close to making a few but he screwed up. People said things to him like,
“Everybody run it’s the Devil’s child!”
And
“Go away you idiot.”
People also tried to kill him, too but, failed.
Billy was a Ranger with a Red Hinkel. He was very strong because he trained all of his life because he had nothing else to do. He was one of the most skilled Rangers in the whole World of Scania. When people attacked him they died and the same with monsters. He never was defeated.
[Part 2 of the Prologue ~ The Devil ~ An Even Match]
Billy just finished the last of all the Warrior and Bandits trying to kill him. One Warrior that was behind all the others was standing. It was a female.
“It’s finally my turn, Thorne..” she said.
Billy had a smirk on his face thinking that this warrior was just as weak as all the other but, he made a huge mistake about that.
“This isn’t going to be hard at all.” Billy said loading his bow from the arrows he slipped out of his quiver into his bow.
The female unsheathed two Doombringers and Billy pulled back on his string. He quickly let go and the two arrows he had loaded his bow with went flying at the warrior. The arrows went through her chest, putting huge holes in it and came out her back. She fell down and turned green.
“I-I’m not done, Thorne.” said the warrior.
Billy replied, “It’s too late you’re already dead. If you want to live a couple seconds longer then I suggest you don’t move at all.”
The warrior slowly got back up. One of her eyes popped out of her head.
“What the heck are you? Are you a zombie? Or are you alive?” Billy shouted.
The warrior didn’t reply and ran at Billy with her two Doombringers.
“Thorne, you’re not going to be able to kill me because I’m already dead. I don’t know how I got this way but, it feels good.” said the girl.

Prologue 1.1
Prologue 1.1 [The Fight]
[Part 1 of Prologue 1.1 ~ The Fight ~ The Fight]
Billy loaded his bow with seven arrows and pulled the string back then let go. The arrows ripped through the warrior’s skin again but, didn’t hurt her much.
“Your arrows won’t hurt me much. I just thought I would let you know that.” said the warrior sprinting towards Billy getting ready to strike him with both of her DoomBringers.
A green light appeared above the warrior’s head and came down on it damaging it by a lot. The warrior slowly fell to the ground and passed out. When the girl fell down Billy saw a male cleric.
[Part 2 of Prologue 1.1 ~ The Fight ~ A friend or an enemy?]
“Hello, Thorne.” said the cleric.
“. . . Hi.” replied Billy.
“I’m not here to kill you. Billy, I’m just like you. Look at my eyes.” he said.
Billy looked at the clerics face. He was also cross-eyed just like Billy. The cleric told Billy about how they all said he was related to Billy. No one liked him much either.
“Whatever.” Billy replied and walked away.
Chapter One [Sadness+Revenge]
[Part One of Chapter 1 ~ Sadness ~ Sadness]
“Oh, ok.” said the cleric with a frown on his face.
Billy really didn’t cared and just kept walking away from him. A tear rolled down the clerics face. He had never had a friend and thought that Billy would treat him like the human that he was. The cleric didn’t like it. He wanted revenge.
“Suck it up, dork. That’s what I do.” said Billy.
The cleric just stood there upset and angry. He was going to get revenge on Billy.
“Thorne, one day I will fight you and you’ll die.” said the cleric.
Billy chuckled and moved on. He went through a few portals and ended up in a town called El Nath.
[Part Two of Chapter 1 ~ Sadness ~ Billy’s first real fight.
Billy was going towards the potion shop to pick up some potions so he could fight but, when he approached the shop owner he slowly walked away from Billy.
“What do you w-want?” asked the owner.
He replied, “Jesus, I only want some potions. There is no reason you have to be afraid of some guy born cross-eyed. It’s not a big deal.”
“Get away from me you freak! Help! Help me! Someone!” screamed the shop owner nervously.
“Alright, that’s it. I’m going to kill you.” Billy said loading his bow.
“No your not.” said a voice.
Billy quickly turned around and aimed his bow at the person.
“You’re the cleric from earlier! Is this your revenge?” Billy asked.
“Err, I don’t know. I just want to be accepted for who I am because I hate it that people think I’m your brother. If I were your brother I would be a lot crueler.”
“Shut up, moron,” Billy replied.
The cleric pulled out of his bag a staff called, Dark Ritual. He was casting a spell called, Holy Arrow. The rapid winds from the Holy Arrow was blowing Billy back. He fell off his feet a few time because of it. The cleric launched the spell at Billy. He got sent back hard, smacking his back into the wall
“Ach. . .” Billy moaned
“Hah! You’re not as strong as everyone says you are. You are really weak to tell the truth.” The cleric said with a grin on his face.
Shut up, moron. You were just lucky.”
“Whatever,” he replied.
Chapter Two [Imp]
[Chapter Two ~ Imp ~ Imp]
The cleric then pulled out a potion that Billy had never seen before. He quickly drank it and Billy hesitated to attack. Wings grew out of the boy’s back and his skin started to turn a light green color.
“What the heck are you?” said the shop owner.
The cleric replied, “Billy isn’t the Devil’s Child. I am. My name is Zachary and I have no last name. My father is still somewhere on this earth and I promised myself that I would kill him because it is putting everyone else in danger.”
Billy’s quiver started glowing. He used his mana to upgrade his regular arrows into steel arrows so he could become stronger. Billy loaded his bow with his new upgraded arrows.
“Thorne, one more thing. I’m not letting you get in my way so I have to kill you.”
“You’re not going to kill me. I’m going to be killing you.” Billy replied.
“I just hope this upgrade doesn‘t ware off anytime soon,” he said to his self.
Zachary was casting another Holy Arrow, pushing Billy into the wall.
Billy said to his self, “I can’t let him hit me again with that Holy Arrow. I wonder if I could use one of my skills on him that would go straight through the strong wind. That’s right1 I have the skill puppet that I just learned not to long ago, fighting yetis.”
Billy pulled out a mana elixir and drank it so he could cast the puppet. Strings appeared in front of Billy, forming a puppet to blow the Holy Arrow. Zachary launched the Holy Arrow with everything he had and ripped right through the puppet putting Billy through the brick wall, severely injuring him.
Could this be the first time that Billy lost?
Billy wasn’t knocked out yet but, blood was pouring out of his back making a huge puddle of blood. He dropped his Red Hinkel and passed out. Zachary waked up to Billy and kicked him.
"“Everyone says you’re strong but you’re not. I told you I would kill you and I would. This is the real power of the Devil’s child. I didn’t want to kill you so quickly so I went easy on you,” Zachary said, healing himself and then walking away.
Billy laid on the cold ground as he lost more and more blood. He was going to die in the next twenty minutes or so if somebody didn’t help him.
[Chapter Two ~ Imp ~ I’m Awake.]
Billy woke up and suddenly felt the pain in his back.
He screamed, “Ahh! Somebody help me! I’m going to die!”
Everybody just walked by Billy. They all didn’t care about him since he was known as, “The Devil’s Child.” Billy really wasn’t. Zachary was the real one.
“Someone help me! Please! I’m not the Devil’s Child! Help!” Billy screamed some more and cried.
An old man walked up to Billy about the age of Sixty or something like that and said to him, “If you are really that strong then you don’t need anybody to help you. Go walk to the hospital yourself and that’s proof that you are strong.”
Billy used what little strength he had and moved his head to look up at the man. He tried moving his legs but, it was useless. Billy was going to die. He really didn’t care anyway because he got treated like crap anyways.
“Why would you want to help me? Everyone hates me and thinks I’m the Devil’s child. You’re the first person to actually treat me right but, it’s too bad I won’t be lasting long on earth anymore.” Billy said.
“Thorne, there is no such thing as the so called, ‘Devil.’ It’s just a legend. I know things like that because the many years I’ve spent on this earth, I’ve found out it’s secrets and other things. Believe me, kid. I know the Devil is not real.” said the man.
Billy replied in a weak voice, “That’s. . . not true and I know it not. You may have been around longer but, what I just went through then you will believe in this ‘Devil’ and his son.”
He pulled himself up and walked away to the hospital, leaving little bits of blood behind.
At the Hospital
Billy was alone in the room with a male nurse because he was watching Billy.
He tossed his chair to the side and said “That’s it!” Billy stared at him.
The nurse started singing, “We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I

You wouldn't get this from any other guy

Billy’s eyes widened.
“What the f-”
The nurse came into the room and said, “Billy, it’s alright for you to leave now.”
He quickly equipped his quiver and ran off with his Red Hinkel.
The female nurse said to the male, “So. . . Did he leave his wallet?”
He replied, “No, not this time.”
Billy stopped at a Diner in El Nath to get something to eat but, all he could think of was that odd nurse. He scratched his head in confusion.
“That was one of the most scariest things I’ve ever experienced. Huh? Wait a second. People are starting to treat me normal now. Oh, cool.” he said smiling.
“Here’s your coffee, sir.” said the waitress in a sweet voice.
Billy took the coffee and smiled.
He said, “Thanks.”
He sipped his coffee and decided to pay the bill and leave. Billy was going to go train on some yetis to get stronger and defeat the Devil’s child, the cleric he had faced earlier.
Flashback
I’m the Devil’s child.
End of Flashback
Billy decided to go deep inside the dungeon where no one had ever went to see if he could find the Devil. In the Dungeon rumors say that there are Jr. Balrogs in there and more. Billy didn’t care he was going to put a stop to this stupid stuff about the Devil.
Billy grabbed his quiver and Red Hinkel as he got out of bed. Today was the day he was going to Orbis to take the ship to Victoria Island. The Dungeon was supposedly in SleepyWood.
SleepyWood was a town few had made it to alive but, mostly all died.
Billy had just made it on the ship before it left. He was now off to Victoria Island along with another hundred people or so.
Billy looked down at the calm sea. Everything was silent.
“Hey,” said a voice from behind Billy.
He turned around and saw a girl about his age and replied, “Oh, hello.”
Billy thought, “That’s odd. Why is everyone acting so nice to me lately. Ever since I’ve met that guy life has been going good for me.”
Billy was too busy thinking, while the girl was talking to him and he didn’t even know it until she tapped him on the shoulder. He blushed and apologized.
“What are you planning to do once you get to Victoria Island?” asked the girl.
“Oh, uhh, nothing.” Billy said.
“Alright, you’re doing something once you get there. What is it?” she asked.
Billy got an idea and said, “I’m going to look for a girlfriend!”
The girl looked annoyed and slapped Billy in the face and shouted, “What are you going to do? I’m not an idiot like you.”
Billy sighed and started to shake. He said, “People always made fun of me and called me the Devil’s child because I was born cross-eyed. One day I was fighting a couple of yetis and then I met a cleric. This cleric was also born cross-eyed. He told me all about him and how people also made fun of him. Then I acted like a jerk and he got mad at me. Then after that I decided to go back to El Nath to get some potions. I entered the potion store and the owner of the shop started insulting me saying I was the Devil’s child. The cleric I had ran into earlier came in the shop and protected the owner, almost killing me. That cleric said to me, “I’m the Devil’s child.” Then I passed out. An old man had noticed I was laying on the ground bleeding and he talked to me. I then got up because of what he said. As crazy as that sounds, it’s true.”
The girl stared at him and then said confused, “Devil’s child? I’ve never heard of that and I found about everything if it’s secrets or anything else. Well, that must stink for you. I hate when people make fun of me because I have short hair and the say I look like a boy.”
Billy replied, “That’s nothing compared to what I had to face.”
“Oh,” she replied.
Billy said, “That is why I am going to Victoria Island. I’m going to the Dungeon in SleepyWood. Very few people made it there but, died.”
She asked, “What’s SleepyWood? Is that a town or something because I’ve never heard of it. That’s odd, I guess I don’t know as much as I thought I did. Or is it you’re just. . . How should I put this? Not that educated. There we go. You’re just not that educated.”
Billy chuckled and then coughed from laughing.
He said, “Okay then. I’ll tell you what I’m going to do again so you understand. I’m going to a dangerous town in the middle of Victoria Island. Only a few people made it there alive. I think this so called Devil is there.”
The girl replied, “Victoria Island? Where’s that?”
Billy was shocked and thought, “This isn’t right. What’s going on. Is something wrong with her? Or is it something else?”
Billy loaded his bow with two arrows and shot them at the girl. They went straight through her doing nothing. That girl was a robot. The robot slowly fell to the ground, shutting off because of the arrows that had went through it.
“What in the world is going on? Something isn’t right.” Billy said acting suspicious.
He then heard a bunch of doors open and then close. Everyone was getting out of there cabin at the same time. It seemed kind of odd. Billy slowly reached into his quiver and pulled a couple of arrows out to load his bow. He heard footsteps coming from towards the stairs. About ten people came up and looked at Billy. The ten of them had the same two-handed swords, a Beserker. Billy had no idea what was going on.
“Oh my god! What the heck is going on!?” Billy shouted.
The ten people came sprinting towards Billy, getting ready to swing there swords but, a mage had came over and teleported Billy away.
“Thorne, people are after you so you better watch out.” said the magician he teleported Billy away from the warriors.
“I don’t get it what the heck is going on. Tell me!” Billy shouted.
The magician replied, “Jump off the ship and I’ll tell you.”
Billy didn’t listen so the boy took him by the waste and jumped off the ship with him. They both landed in the clam water.
“Now start swimming North. Okay?” The magician said.
Billy did what he said and swam north.
The magician said, “Alright, Thorne, here’s the reason why I’m here. On the radio one day there was this spell that a really experienced magician pulled off and the effects were people remembered very little. The Devil is real and so is his son. They don’t want people talking about them or else it will attract more people inside the dungeon because that’s where the are supposedly. You me and those two are probably the only people who are safe from the spell. All the other people are controlled by the Devil and his son. We need to go into the Dungeon and fight the Devil. That’s where you were going anyway right?”
“Yeah,” Billy replied shocked.
The magician started explaining, “The Devil and his son won’t be our only opponents though. There will be strong monsters and guards of the Devil. If we defeat the Devil then everyone will be the same again. Oh and when everyone goes back to being the same they will know that you saved them because it will be on the radio. I’ll make it.”
“Thanks,” Billy said with a big smile on his face.
Ch 6
The magician by the name of Aaron took Billy by the wrist and teleported through the water with him so they could get to Victoria Island faster. When they saw the island in the distance they saw smoke from a far distance. It looked really close but, it was really far away from them.
“Hey, Thorne, look at the smoke. Do you think it’s from the dungeon?” asked Aaron.
Billy replied, “Why do you ask me? I don’t know. Anyway who cares if it is or not. We’re focused on other things right now.”
“Yeah, true but, what if that smoke is what we’re focused on.” Aaron said pulling himself up on the shore out of the water.
Aaron reached out his hand towards Billy’s and pulled him up on the shore as well. All of a sudden smoke went flying all over the place.
“A couple of smoke grenades?” Billy asked.
“Probably,” Aaron replied.
A voice said, “Pick a sandwich please.”
When the smoke cleared up there stood a girl with a white apron and a brown colored box that was full of sandwiches.
Aaron crept closer to Billy and whispered, “Run.”
Billy ran away from the odd girl, while Aaron stayed back and started firing some Holy Arrows at the lady, knocking her back of her feet. That gave Aaron time to run away from the crazy lady.
“Do you know that person from somewhere?” asked Billy once Aaron caught up to him.
Aaron replied, “She’s from this town called RuneScape. A lot of crazy people live there but, she’s one of the craziest. If you don’t take a sandwich she’ll take her basket and whack you in the head until you pass out.”
Some more smoke filled the air in front of Aaron and Billy.
“You thought you could escape from me. Well, you didn’t. I ASKED YOU TO TAKE A SANDWICH BUT, YOU DIDN’T TAKE ONE. YOU ARE GOING TO REGRET THIS MOMENT FOR A LONG TIME.” said the Sandwich Lady appearing after the smoke cleared up.
Billy loaded his bow with an arrow and Aaron got ready to cast a Holy Arrow. When the Sandwich Lady saw what they were doing she looked terrified. She then dropped her basket and ran away. Billy put his arrow back in his quiver and Aaron put away his staff.
“Hey Aaron.” Billy said.
“Yeah,” Aaron replied.
“Err, do you know where we are?” Billy asked.
“Oh, we. . . Must’ve gotten lost from running away from the Sandwich Lady!!!” Aaron screamed.
Billy and Aaron eventually found the Sandwich Lady and forced her to help them. They made it to a nearby town called Lith Harbor.
“It smells as if the smoke was right next to us. I hate the smell.” complained Aaron.
“Whatever. Let’s just get to SleepyWood.” Billy snapped.
Aaron thought, “I don’t like this felling I have. What is that smoke?”
“Are you coming Aaron? I want to get to SleepyWood already.” Billy said.
Aaron nodded and came running to the portal Billy was standing by and then went through it. Billy fired an arrow, killing a nearby slime.
When Billy and Aaron went through a few more portals Aaron noticed the smoke was gone.
“Billy, that smoke is gone.” Aaron said.
“Yeah, now shut up because I don’t really care.” Billy replied annoyed.
Aaron nodded and kept on walking.
Billy pointed, “Up there is Kerning City.”
Aaron nodded and followed Billy to Kerning City.
“Hey, Billy, you can’t get to the Dungeon from Kerning City. You have to go to Henesys.” Aaron said laughing.
Billy smacked Aaron in the face and then jumped back down to the portal to Henesys and then went through it, killing every monster that stepped in front of him.
About ten minutes later they both ended up in Henesys.
“There’s the portal to SleepyWood.” Billy said.
Aaron teleported up to it and said, “Billy come on!”
Billy jumped up there, too and went through it. His mouth then dropped. The same happened to Aaron when he went through.
“That was what the smoke was.” Aaron said surprised.
“No way,” Billy said trembling in fear.
Somebody had tortured people by setting them on fire. Billy walked up to a body and kicked it. One was still barely alive.
He then said in a low, weak voice, “He. . .had. . .a spear. . .and. . .”
The man then died from the fire.
Aaron shook him and then his hot body almost burnt his hands.
“Ow!” Aaron yelled.
