Got my Drivers License! -

Since I had no school today, I decided to go to the DMV with my mom and re-take my road test. The last time I went there, I passed my written test easily, but I failed my road test. The reason for that was because this damn 18-wheeler was in front of me at a red light, and I followed it through the light because I couldn't see above it. My jaw just dropped when that happened and the cop who was testing me in the passenger seat went "Mmmm, not good, not good."

I got real mixed reviews about that incident. Dad and his fiance said it was my fault, Mom, other relatives, and friends said it wasn't totally my fault. That dad of mine... but I digress.

This time I was planning on getting there super early, like 7:30AM, to be the first in line. That didn't work out the way I wanted it to. I slept in and my mom did too, so we ended up getting there a little bit past noon. The line was frickin' long(it went out the door!), and this DMV had one person working at the desk, so it moved super slow. I remembered my best friend saying he was coming here to take his test too. So sure enough I saw him coming out of the place to take his road test, so that was cool. After about an hour, we had moved up like 7 people, and my best friend came back inside and put on his Borat accent. He was all like "Great success! I have passed my road test." He didn't comment about hitting any gypsies though. Yeah, he's a pretty funny guy.

Anyways, we got to the front of the line, and I was like the last person to be able to take the road test since it was getting late in the day. Lucky me.

So I went in my mom's car and drove up to the test line.(yep, it's a line of cars for taking the test) When it was my turn, the cop lady came in, and the test began.

Long story short, I passed, but something funny happened during the test. So here I was with the cop lady in the passenger seat, going the speed limit down this road. This green car in back of me was beeping and beeping, and I was getting kinda nervous, because they were tailgating. The lady made me go left at a light, and they were going straight, and when they passed they were like "You were going fuckin' 30 miles an hour!" Buncha black guys, no surprise there, right? They noticed the cop was in the car and I heard one go "Oh shit!" She got their license plate number too.

Well, I passed, but she made it apparent that I sucked at backing into parking spaces. Big deal, right? I'll get better.
So then there was a line for the people who passed to get their photos taken. I got my photo taken, waited for it to develop on the card, and held it above my head with both hands as if it were the mighty Excalibur!

Yeah right. I'd have to be a total loser to do that. It'd be funny to watch though.
