New Henesys against the Old. - Maplestory

I might have touched on this subject a bit in the previous blog I've made on my profil3, but I decided to inform you all of what has changed in the 1-2 year span in Henesys.

The current Henesys is right now called the New Henesys or Neo Hene if you feel like it. This current Henesys as most can tell are filled with idling users that constantly spew wanton sayings such as looking for a gf or bf, or try to flaunt how "cool" they are. First of all, Having a gf or bf is because the two players honestly love each other, and use this online relationship to substitute for the tangible relationship they can not have due to location differences. It is not to be used as a way to use other players just because they have a high level or lots of money. Many users take this wrong route into a relationship and end up become Maplestory-esque gold diggers. Always asking for money and items from their online spouses. Another thing that almost all these users do now is try to buy as much NX as they can and buy expensive and mis-matched clothes to try to seem important. NX is not used to seem important, but to create a unique individuallity for your characther making yours and yours alone. I myself use NX, but I only buy a 20,000 NX card every 3 months, and I usually only spend 10-12,000 of that on Clothes. I use the NX just to make myself feel unique and different which every user should. Another thing are the naked noobs that always hang around just to try to make a ridiculous attempt at trolling such as "[Name Here] is fat! Ololololol." These users are not only wasting time trying to make users feel bad, they do a deplorable job of it.

Old Henesys, or Retro Hene, is where me and about 4 of my best friends came from. This was Henesys a year or two ago, people with NX only used it because they didn't like the look of the equipments. There weren't as much ridiculous flamers. We had a flamer here and there, but whenever we told em to piss off they would. Which is quite funny now I look back to it. Stalkers liked to litter the place and it was quite nice with them around actually. They'd bring a sense of humour that these current Hensnoobs could not. Also withen Retro Hene was a group of people that the users would consider "popular" for some reason. I was in this group along with Shadow3155, Normalguy334, and a few others. We'd just hang out in Mayas or Henesys whenever we tired of training, and we'd attract a crowd for some reason. Another lil commodity back then was a predicament I call "The era of Amber" During this maple-era, Most girls would for some odd reason glorify Amber in our group. She would constantly try to date any girl or guy she'd like, and after a week later after she cybered them dump em and pick up a new one. Being in the group me and my friends were she would have an easy time doing so. Luckily, I turned her down cuz I realized she was A. 5 years younger than me, B. I didn't care for her, and C. I don't like the idea of Sex and or Cybering. So, when news broke out about this, She'd try to go all emo and try to make people care for her. It was silly. Other odd things like this happened in Retro Hene until it turned into Neo Current Hene.

So, from what I've seen, Retro Hene was filled with unique users that would hang around and have a nice time chatting with each other. Not worrying about online relationships except for a few users, and life was good.

Now with current Henesys, these NX-whoring noobs have tried to copy the Retro Hene life-style and ended up screwing it up into something thats just depressing to watch. Listening to people yelling that they're Buying, yes BUYING, a spouse or marriage buddy, or they just sit around waiting for someone to chat with em, and when they do its never really interesting.

On another note, with all that's going on in Henesys, I'd think no one would even try hitting on me since they only care about Lvls and NX. With this in mind, mostly no one would want to try to create a relation with a poor non-leveling 48 cleric unless they were a gold digger right? Apparently a lv.93 Priest tried to hit on me for my personality, so, its nice to know that some people still think that relations are meant to be about love, not Levels or Money. Sadly I turned her down, probally only chance I had at hopefully starting a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.
