0The bride, Kitty wore a lovely white gown, delicate shoes and had her naturally purple hair done in an updo with a Lotus Flower. Her gown was ivory with handmade lace from her mother's veil on the cuffs. Her outfit was in a few words, simple while still being chic and stylish. She was accompanied down the aisle by her faithful and loyal cat Cassandra, who sported a new red bow for the occasion.
The groom, who is known to close friends as Kids, forgo his usually comfortable attire and was tastefully dressed in a white suit. Many attendees had never seen Kids dressed so formally and many remarked how dashing he looked on this special occasion.
MermaidKitty's attendants were as follows: Maid of Honor - MsSilentMoon; Bridemaids - sweet, yuffie11, MssLazy and DexlessCHICK. Among the groom's attendants were: Spicy, mageinate and SevenNates. Also in attendance were: steelmonkey, drag0nk1ng3 and other guests. The bride seemed to have no set color scheme and her attendants wore various gowns in shades of red, pink, white and blue. When asked about her color chooses, Kitty replied, "I believe in allowing people to wear what suits them and makes them happy. No one is comfortable when wearing something they despise. I would rather people have fun, then feel stuffy and uncomfortable all day long."
Before the wedding the bride admitted to close friend MsSlientMoon that she was very nervous. The groom seemed relaxed and seemed delighted by the turn-out. The couple had invited more people but unfortunately they could not attend due to delays in traffic. Among those sorely missed by the couple were mago6, flaminkeiji, shinjitu, kaydeebird, MerHannon, ClericChris, PlaidHabit, Arkt0s, DKAura, Raven and dqking. The bride especially missed best friend WolfieDuke, who was also supposed to be a Maid of Honor, but who fell ill at the last minute. Also missing was Best Man and VP of Neverwhere Sake Company hartom, whose plane had engine problems.
When asked to recall some of her favorite moments, MermaidKitty blushed and replied softly, "Well, getting my engagement ring was a special day. Kids let me pick out the one I wanted so I picked a sparkley one. It was also a big surprise to me that he arranged for flowers, petals and fireworks during our wedding. It made me feel very special."
The couple is planning a New Year's Bash in hopes that people who did not get to attend their wedding and small reception and come and celebrate their marriage and the New Year.
