Meh, so my family has been involved with a group called homestay for about 10 years. This group involves a Japanese exchange student program and we have hosted about 5 different individuals at our home for about 3 or 4 days. Now it's been about 5-7 years since the last time we were offered to have a student. So now, naturally, we get an offer to host a 14 or 15 year old boy or girl from Fukaya. I think this would be really fun, but I think it would be a little awkward too. Like, before I was 10. I didn't have to talk to them or anything, I just had to be adorable and it worked out just fine (lol). But now I'm not adorable anymore and I don't really know what I'll say to them. I really idolize the Japanese culture and people, and I recently have been studying the language (though I can say only a few words and phrases) and I'm afraid of looking like the stereotypical ignorant western nub.

My question is, would you have a boy or girl student if you were me (a 17 year old guy w/ a 15 year old brother) and what kinds of things would you do together? =)
