hmmm summing up a few days that werent very interesting but went past so fast.

We went to Manhattan on independence day. It took us about an hour and a bit just to get there by subway and ferry...=.="...by the time we got there it had already started and there were crowds of people on the street watching as we joined in. I'd like to say that this has been the best fireworks I have seen so far in my whole life. It was huge, loud, and had a wide variety of designs. I dunno about the eastern states in Australia but I have never seen heart shaped or star shaped fireworks in Perth. They were beautiful. The only down fall was that it took 2 hours for us to get home...>_>

We went to see Liberty. She is absolutely beautiful...my brother asked me if liberty was a lady or a man..>_> and i was like geez obviously its a lady, she's named Lady Liberty and she also has bumps on her chest...that = a woman! It was a pity we couldnt go up the monument becas we didnt reserve tickets. Hmmm and yes i did eat an american hot dog...or should i say hat dag? lol the accent is sooo cool. The ferry also took us to Ellis Island where migrants were detained if they were sick or something. The photos there are captivating and draws you into a world of lonelyness and despair. If I had the time I'd have looked at everything but no one else in the family was interested...=.= geez am i the onli emo in the family? lol...moving on...

Yesterday we went to my aunt's office in manhattan i think? My aunts a pathologist and MAN she has SOOO many certificates and qualifications that its not funni! 3 walls of her office are covered with them!! It was cool cas this was wat i was learning before at University. She had the whole microscope, shelf of books about tissue and diseases, slides with human tissue in it and of course all her certificates. She showed me a slide of this case where this person had a carcinoma and sarcoma, apparently its called carcino-sarcoma and its rare, but that person is gonna die in less than 6 months...=[

We headed off to the United Nations. Its cool that the United Nations is its own country, its not apart of the US so they have their own policing system and stuff. Its like Petoria from Family guy lol. If you ever go, take the tour, it doesnt cost much and its amazing seeing the assembly halls and the council meeting areas. Too bad onli delegetes could enter the middle area where all the important parties would sit during the meeting. The tour guide explains everything and its quite interesting overall.

Then we ate this thing called chicken gyro or lamb gyro...o.0 wats gyro? my dad says its from a stall called halal something...and he says its middle eastern something...geez my memory is so bad. Either way it was delicious =]. With our stomachs full, we walked all the way to 59th street. That is supposedly the place where things are sold realli expensively...well i guess its not that bad, but some clothes r just ridiculously priced. This one crappy, unironed, green weird designed dress was $100. Anyone who buys that is an idiot. The fabric is crappy the colour is bad...geez and for $100? i dont think so...=.= There was this one night gown which was VERY pretty and it was $180 but what can u expect from such a nicely designed dress with lovely fabric?

After looking at those "high classed" shops, we headed to the empire state building. The line was huge!! So many people lining up. While we were in a line, this african american that worked there was like "sup man?"...and how embarrasing my dad was like "sup man?" too to him. They started talking, it was nice i must admit but still sorta embarrasing with ur dad tryin to do the handshakes u see done on the movies...=.= and that guy was like "how did you know how to do it!?" and my dads like..."from the movies!!" lol...>_> *hides her face* it was funni tho. Anyways we took the elevator to lvl 80. The top level is lvl 86 which u have to take another elevator at lvl 80 to get to. However the line was TOO long so we opted the Stairs...yup 6 flight of stairs we climbed. Geez by the time I got to lvl 86 my legs were like jelly...=.= they wouldnt even function properly...Then finally!! the view of NY!! It was nice, but i bet it'd be better at night? I could see Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhatten, NYU (the medical sector) Queens and Broadway. I couldnt realli tell the difference even thou my aunt showed us around lol. NY is too big...Perth is such a small place compared to it. In comparison, the stratosphere in Las Vegas had a much better view? And lvl 80-86 was still under renovation...=.= so it wasnt a nice sight in the building. The wind was huge and I probably flashed everyone becas it continually blew up my mini skirt. I had to hold my skirt down!! dammit and my hair was getting in the way and I wanted to brush away the hair from my eyes but i couldnt becas of my stupid darn skirt!! *notes to self, dont wear mini skirts on high buildings.

Anyways I better get off now becas its my stinky farting brothers turn...geez his farts r crazi lol nyways have fun!! sigh i'll be leaving NY in...a week and going to China. Oh yea one question, do the big pretzels taste nice? my 8 year old cousin ate a whole big pretzel! Anyways take care!! Love ya guys!!
