I posted this on Basil and it didn't get many views, so I'm blogging it to see if it turns out any better here. (Adding it to the Bera group as well because joining that group for training partners and such was one of the main reasons I joined)

So I was looking through the Wanted area yesterday, looking for a training partner for FoG. I came across this post, which is a list of where people train. The list is somewhat organized I suppose, but not to the best it could be, and requires the thread starter to edit in what everyone has posted. And this is how my idea started.

Many of you might remember MapleNoobs, the hacker-hunting site where you could upload hacker screenshots to. My idea is to create a website using the same site tools (the Wiki coding) and use that to design a site where anyone could go on and add their character info (including and especially the info about where they train), find other people who train in the same areas, and read some info on some of the more popular training areas, such as FoG, HHG1, or Coolies.

This site wouldn't be much good unless a lot of people actually used it, so I'm posting about it before I even start on figuring out exactly what would be the best way to go about this. Do you guys think it's a good idea, and would you use it?

Looks like a good idea, but it would have to be heavily advertised for it to succeed.

As for me using... maybe. I don't like partying a lot, especially at higher level stuff, because I'm not used to it. I'm more of a soloist, but I think that it might come in handy to have a Heal and Rage slave. : P
Bands: Redman, Method man, DMX, Busta Rhymes, etc.

I'll party with you.
