We went down to my Aunt and Uncle for thanksgiving, my little cousin was sick, and so now we're all sick too... which is lame.
In future, we should probably ask before visiting... *sigh*

I got a new Dell Red XPS M1330 laptop for college on black friday, and a 16Gb Sandisk USB flashdrive. (Yay!)[/endbrag]
I'll be doing a college course from Jan to May, so one was required.

As some of you know from the review I did on it a while back, I have a logitech MX Revolution mouse. (Best mouse ever!!!), anyway, lately the hyper-scrollwheel function was getting sticky, and the thing wouldn't spin freely anymore. (Basically, it's just like a NORMAL scrollwheel now). Anyway, I sent logitech an email asking if it could be fixed under warranty, they suggested spraying it with a compressed air can, which helped practically nothing. After that, they basically told me that they don't support international warranties since I purchased the mouse in South Africa and am now in the US... so I replied if there was nothing they could possibly do at all about it. (It's a $100 mouse, not like I can just buy another because of a fault on their part!).

And so they didn't reply to me for like a week! I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though, considering it was thanksgiving. Anyway, I recieved an email last night saying the following:
I regret to inform you that we do not provide international warranty for our product. However, I have consulted our replacement division regarding this issue. I am pleased to inform you that they have agreed on a one-time exception. They are willing to ship the replacement unit to your US address.

I am pleased to inform you that your warranty replacement order has been submitted. Estimated 7-15 business days will be required in order to approve and process this request. An auto generated email will be sent to you once the shipment leaves the warehouse. The replacement will be shipped to your address below.

Needless to say, after having thought there wasn't any hope left, it was nice to see that they actually DO value their customers. Yay!

In other news, our stuff should arrive tomorrow so I'll be getting my PC BACK! Woot! On the other hand, I have had this headache all afternoon, am sick, and now I have to be unpacking stuff all day tomorrow. Great. -.-

EDIT: UPDATE: I Just got the email saying they've shipped the replacement MX Revolution.
