I've never wore a costume in my whole life, much less get candy on Halloween.
You can always hide 95% of your candy in your costume or wherever and only show them 5% of the total candy.
When inside your room, just hide the candy in your closet clothes, school bag ,or any other place that isn't noticeable.
The trick is to hide them in different places and not stockpile them into one huge wad of candy.
Put put half in one area, and the other half in another area.
If your parents discover one spot, you still the the candies in the other spot.
