This being my last year of school and all,I wanted to look back in a couple a things. Once I did that,I concluded: "My life so far has been pretty rockin'." No chores. No mistreatment. I even talked to my dad about what really counts in life;to live happily,or to sacrifice that happiness for success. He said, "When the time comes that'll be your problem,I already did my job in raising you." Then I asked him, "But what if I never go to college,and end up just a lowly construction worker?" He replied, "Like I said,that won't be my problem,I just hope I can live long enough to see you settled and happy." Yeah...my dad is a great man... He was a soldier for his country,captured as a prisoner of war for 10 years,and had to make a break for America with my parasite of a mother in tow. Just so his son won't be miserable like the rest of my mother's children. I owe my life to this man....Berman Uriel Espinoza Lopez. He's 56 now,suffered through many heart attacks,even uses a cane now;he needs surgery done to recover. He still wants to work. I just wanted to talk about him. |
