Today, while I was browsing around FM doing nothing apparent, I suddently came across a pair of Red Emerald Earrings lying on the ground. I believe they give a +3 INT bonus. So, quickly and curiously, I quickly went across FM and picked them up. Scrambling, I exited FM. I kept going in and out of FM and what I was sure was the owner saw me every now and then. The earrings were actually scrolled and the stats were +9 INT +10 M.ATK. It was perfect for me, since actually right now I'm looking for a good pair of earrings and a cape.

Suddenly, the owner whispered me and asked for the earrings back. At that time I was wondering what I should do. I was thinking of actually not replying and ignoring him, but I replied. As you can see in the SS, I was trying to justify my rights to keep the earrings. Except, I honestly thought that I shouldn't have used those lame excuses, and while I was typing it out, I was just thinking back to when I used to give items back when I looted them. Then, how I would feel if I lost those earrings.

So eventually, we met in FM and I told the owner that he was lucky that I was the one that looted it, since I'm pretty much sure 97% of the population would have just taken them. The owner turned out to be in a high-ranking guild and a high level. I'm pretty sure at that point if I didn't return them I would never have been able to train again. Anyway, I gave the earrings with the prospect of getting a reward of maybe 2mil mesos at the back of my head. I clicked trade when he had nothing in his trade box and suddenly, he put up 50mil mesos. Yes, 50mil mesos. I was taken aback. The most I expected was 2mil, nothing more. This might've been due to the fact the earrings were about 100mil+ (I actually saw those earrings in FM priced at over 100mil, might've been around 200, not sure), but he traded them. The tax took 2mil, but I still gained 48mil.

That's the reward you get for being completely greed-free. And plus, you would feel much better in terms of guilt.
