And to BS (blog starter)....
Here's wat you'll need....
* good joke (must be good not like "why did the chicken cross the road"

* backgrounds
* use chat bubbles (the ones in bs are good)
* don't use to much blank spaces (otherwise you'll become crandelmeade #3 {2 is redwolf})
* finish off a series or atleast get it to 5 episodes before starting a new one.
* Banner

(not needed but cool)
* credits
that's pretty much all i can think of really. I have comics too but i fail at the joke part

That wasn't mean, it was truthful.
About 50% of your points are horrible and you should never give advice if 50% are bad.
1. It doesn't need a joke to be good.
2. Saying quantities as "too much" is not helpful. Good amount of black space is around 5-4 pixels between panels and the sides of the comics. If you want to go more it will look odd, imo.
3. Of course you would say to only get a series to the 5th issue. No, if you only plan on getting to the 5th one and not completing it, just end it now.
4. If you want a good comic, don't produce a banner. I am sure etokapa can do it, but he is the only one and that is because he is a magical pixie. Chaos Ensign, and Vahlse don't have banners, they have the title in the comic to save space because that enhances the quality, and quality is everything.
My own pointers for using photoshop:
-Read up some guides on layering programs. If you already know how to layer images then you are good.
-Test out all the effects in the effect column.
- There is always more than 1 way to produce an effect, so if a guide tells you different than your comfort, do it your way.
- To save any image go to "Save for web page and devices" in File menu. This will give best quality ever.
If you have any personal questions just shoot me a pm or read up on one of my 2 guides and it might answer a question or 2."
