~Basics of the secondary job~

When you are a certain level you will be able to choose a secondary job (The level required for the different jobs will vary but it will at least be level 15). These jobs are not made to change your fighting style but to give you more fun. The main use of these jobs are to be able to be part of certain mini games. You will be able to choose five different secondary jobs (However, this "patch" only have two, more might come) so pick carefully, since when you have picked a job you will not be able to change it.

To get one of these jobs, you will have to complete a long and annoying quest. To make it more fair for the lower leveled players, the quest will become harder the higher level you are.

After you picked a job, you will be able to use the equips of this job, use the skills et cetera. You can use them wherever you like, inside the mini games as well as outside in the world. You will have to use the equips inside of the mini games. The equips will be sold in stores in the town where you find the job instructor. They will be sold for 50 mesos each and there will be various for different levels. When you reach level 15 you will start acquiring secondary skill points (Invisible if you don't have a secondary job). When you get a job you will see these points. You will be able to use these points for any skill from any of the jobs you have. There will not be any advancement for these jobs. However, you will be able to find skillbooks as monster drops (Rare) and some NPC's (Hard to find) will sell various skills.

Continents

This is a place of mountains, a continent I call Alaska Mountains.

How to get to Alaska Mountains

In New Leaf City there is a new npc that will transport you to the first map of Alaska Mountains. You get aboard a ski lift that flies (lol) to your destination. The trip takes five minutes. There is also two other ways to get here. The first one is in Orbis and the second is in Omega Sector.

About Alaska Mountains

The main entrance to this extension of Ossyria is a small village named Kijimanaro. Here you can find enemies similar to the low levels at Victoria Island, such as Stumps and Wild Boars. However, these ones are covered with snow. Deeper inside you can find harder monsters, such as reptiles and even some dinosaurs that until now was thought extinct.

Here you can also acquire the new job Skier. Scroll further down for info about this.

On a higher ground on the mountains lies the town Alaska. Here you can find vicious slalom competitors in the slopes that want nothing more than you down from their mountain. You can also compete against different npc’s and other mapler's in special slopes only made for this purpose. This would be some kind of PvP. To the right of Alaska lies the tower that reaches up onto the very top of Alaska Mountains.

Here is the town Peak. It is a town high up in the skies, really close to Orbis. Here you can find various Pixies that managed to sneak out of Orbis and other monsters that’s no good as training unless you are level 5X+. Here is also a party quest for maplers between the levels of 70 and 120. Miners have also found an underground jungle in the outskirts of the city. No one knows what it is doing there so that could be something worth finding out. The miners will probably reward you with something big if you figure this out.

This town is also famous because of their factory, The Big Factory. It is similar to Ludibrium’s Toy Factory except the fact of the size. Further down in the factory lays The Haunted Factory District. This is a place where all workers once turned into ghosts and zombies. At the bottom reside two bosses, one male zombie and one female ghost. These are extremely hard so you better team up with your strongest friends to even have a slightest chance to beet these two bosses.

Also if you manage to beet at least one of them you are able to go down to the absolute bottom room which leads to Omega Sector.

Peak PQ
This is a PQ in the city Peak for level 70-120. Your objective is to stop ‘Bigfoot’ who is trying to collapse the top of the mountains along with Peak. Need a party of six people.

Stage 1

Collect 50 ‘Pieces of Snow’. They can be found from the enemies that spawn in this map.

Stage 2

Detonate the mines that are hidden in the snow. They might be covered in the snow but they are still easy to see, as a small snow heap. Destroy all 60 by killing them (strangely they won’t detonate by killing them). A mobber is really good at this stage since the heaps are close to each other.

Stage 3

Kill Bigfoot’s underlings. They will spawn around the map until 100 is killed.

Stage 4

Open the route to Bigfoot’s lair. Drop 5 Pieces of Snow in each of the 10 holes to start the spawn of monsters. Kill them until they award you with the key to the lair.

Last Stage

Boss! Kill Bigfoot. Should be easy to understand~

Bonus Stage

You have 2 minutes to smash as many snow heaps as possible. They all drop mesos and pots and sometimes equips, scrolls and summoning bags. (Sorry, I’m too lazy to name the specific drops xO)

Skier Job - Secondary Job

At level 15 you will be able to become the Skier. To become a Skier you have to speak with the NPC at the top of Kijiminaro and complete his quests.

Skier is the first job that is able to use greaves instead of weapons. When using a greave, you will be able to equip skies and snowboards on your feet. Don't worry that the skies/snowboards will slow you down or something like that. They won't. The equips will be baggy and warm. Typical skiing clothes.

Sinoa Lake

Ever wondered what was hidden behind the Blocked Cave in the underground jungle? Well actually this is the entrance to the continent ‘Sinoa Lake’ that is a big lake that could easily be taken as an ocean. After finish a few low levelled quests the miners of Peak will transport you to the lake.

You might be fooled by its name and think that it is underwater. But that is not correct. Here you can travel across the water and on the islands that is to be found at different locations of the lake. You will be able to jump down into the lake for easier access to the fishes.

Sinoa Lake is a peaceful place with enemies, such as seagulls and other varied ocean birds. Marine animals will also be found around the water. This is for example dolphins. On the islands you will find not only the same enemies as those that reside at Florina Beach but also totally new monsters. At the city in the centre of the lake (that is the only city in this continent), Sinoa, you’re able to buy totally new weapons that never have been seen before from the shops. You can also become the job Boatman here (Oh no, another job

). For those that remember the part where you had to do a few quest to come to this lake, fear not! You see, along with this continent comes a new function that makes it possible to be send to Sinoa Lake instead of Victoria Island after Maple Island as soon as you have visited the lake with any of your other characters. You will find enemies such as snails, mushrooms and slimes close to Sinoa.

After activating a transport from Sinoa to Henesys you will be able to travel between Sinoa Lake and Victoria Island as much as you want for no cost at all.

Sailor Job - Secondary Job

You can become a Sailor at level 20. Speak with the NPC in Sinoa for the quests.

As a Sailor you will be able to use weapons such as paddles and anchors. Both kinds of weapons are two handed so there will be no shields able for this job. The equips are based on sailor suits.

Final words

This has got much longer than I was planning for when I started writing this... Hehe.

This has taken quite a long time to make. I think I started doing this on my computer in January. The reason it took so long time is because when I was doing this I kept on coming up with more and more ideas.

Also, the city in Alaska Mountains, Kijimanaro. It is supposed to be called like that. It is not supposed to be called Kilimanjaro. Just to make that clear xP

About updated, I will probably fix misspellings and things that doesn’t make sense but I don’t know it I should add more places. It has been pretty difficult to make up all this stuff. But ill see what happens. If it almost doesn’t get any posts it wouldn’t be a really great idea to add more stuff would it? ;D
