How To Connect

The alternative BasilMarket IRC is hosted on Rizon. To connect just point your IRC client at irc.rizon.net and join #basilmarket. Clients for windows include mIRC and Chatzilla for firefox.

How to register your nickname.

Type: /msg NickServ REGISTER password email

After issuing that command, an email will be dispatched with a confirmation code to your email address from service[at]rizon.net. Copy and paste the codes within 24 hours from your email address you just registered to complete the registration process; otherwise the nick will be available for others to register.

Rules and commands

Using the command !rules will give you the following list of rules:

1. Keep swearing in context - that does not mean no swearing, it means use swear words when it is justified.
2. Clean(ish) topics - We do not want to hear about your misadventures in the bathroom.
3. Do not abuse VuBot - When the bot is in the room, do not spam commands or demand a game be turned on
4. Do not ask for voice, half op or op - You will not become one.
5. Respect other users

Using the command !commands will give the list of commands for VuBot:

!rules - Gives you the rule list
!askvu [yes/no question] - The all knowing VuBot will answer your question.
!r100 [question] - The all knowing VuBot will tell you how probable it is.
!roulette - Play a game of russian roulette, if you get killed the bot will kick you.
!murder [nick] (1~4) - Kills another user.
!quotes - Gives you infomation about the quote system.
