Argh. I like Animes. Arrrgh. Well, some of them. Arrrgh. But here in Holland the adults don't like Animes. AAARRRRGH!

Animes that have been on here:

- Pokemon: has been on for more than 10 years, was never outlawed, but heavily censored by Warner Brothers (James of Team Rocket cross-dressed to much). I used to like it, but not any more. It's unethical and Pikachu (Ash's Pikachu) really pisses the hell out of me. He's too strong and KSes like hell. The only good thing is that my favortie voice artist Rolf Koster plays some roles in it.
- B-Daman: Lasted only a few months. BORING! And it was just too much like BeyBlade. >_> Come on! On top of that no Rolf Koster.
- Oban Starracers: Lasted only a few months as well. Too bad! No Rolf Koster, but I loved it! I hate you, Jetix Europe!
- BeyBlade: We never got G-Revo. BeyBlade lasted about a year and.... mmm... I didn't quite like the style. I did like Rei's looks though; he had long fangs and cat's ears. I did like Kai too; he was muscular and played by Rolf Koster. One of his best roles. Max was played by the guy who played Dutch SpongeBob. (hell)
BeyBlade V-Force: Lasted several years. I had to get used to the style. Favorite character was Kai, who was still played by Rolf. We have few voice actors here; exept some ALL the voice actors from Yu-GI-Oh were in it. Zeo was played by an actor who didn't have the voice for his role (that actor cannot sound evil) and Max's voice sucked.
Yu-Gi-Oh!: Has lasted for about 6 years. TOTALLY UTTERLY REDICULOUSLY CENSORED BY BOTH KONAMI AND WARNER BROTHERS! I'm SO pissed. My favorite characters are the Bakurae, both done by Rolfie. But they're hardly even in that Anime! WTF? They were important in the Manga! very possible bloodstain has been digitalised out (but they sucked, casue on quite some shots Yami no Bakura still has the stain on his arm), some for every indication of alcohol or guns. (Barrel Dragon has lasers instead of guns) Bakura's monster Dark Necrofear is in the Japanese version holding a baby. In our version her arms are empty, but still in the holding position. The card still shows a baby, though. DO YOUR JOBS PROPERLY, GUYS!
I never liked YGO. Only the Bakurae. I tried to record and buy as many DvDs with them on it, but there were only a few. I don't have much footage of them and I will not watch the US or Japanese version. Dutch Bakura Ryou is in my opinion the best there is; feminine but not gay, and nobody can beat him.
Mon Colle Knights: As usual... a little boy and a slutty little girl searching for monsters with cards... Lasted for 2 or so years. Never liked it. No Rolf Koster.
Shinzio, aka Mushrambo: Lasted for about a year, I think. Rolf Koster was playing the lead. I cannot remember much, but it was the only not lame Dutch dub Anime we've ever had. People actually got hit themself, instead of letting some innocent creature like a Pokemon take the damage. Good Anime, nice style.
Digimon: About 5 years, in two different styles. They were... hmmm... okay. Rolf played Joe, Joe's brother Jim, Armadillomon, Digmon and Submarimon.
Medabots old style: Lasted 5 years as well. Rolf played Koji Karakuchi, Sumilidon, Sloan, Mr Tenryou, sang the introduction and played many extras. The style wasn't great, but the humour was and girls weren't necessarily wimps. I LOVED the Phantom Renegade. Exeot Samentha and Ikki all Medabots actors went to play in Yu-Gi-Oh later.
New style Medabots: Boring. The Phantom Renegade and most of Rolf's characters were gone. They even restyled Metabee. Most of the humour was gone; the series were too serious. Lasted less than a year.
Cardcaptor Sakura: Never watched, to be honest. No Rolf and I don't really like Shoujo.
Hamtaro: Stupid Anime. Rolf played Dexter and Dexter's owner, but I never really watched it. Dutch Hamtaro had an annoying voice. Lasted about 9 years, is so now and then still aired on Jetix Play.
ShinChan: Lasted for about 8 years. Daring. ShinChan was played by the actress who played Hamtaro. Because of Shin every little boy pulled down their pants on the street and my youngest brother began calling me "Mitsy", "fatso" (I'm not fat) or "bitch". (that word was used so now and then in Hamtaro) Rolf played some extras in it.
De Bende van Vijf (Go go! Quintuplets land!): Lasted for 5 years. Is still being aired so now and then. Directed by Rolf, who also plays Jack Miller, Daniel Grason and dozens of extras. Chibi-style, some episodes suck VERY MUCH, like the one in which they meet Santa Clause, others are good, like the one in which the mother collapses because the children are demanding too much of her.
Dragonball Z: American, censored version with Sean Schemmel as Goku, Nail and King Kai and Christopher Sabat as Vegeta, Jeice, Piccolo and Yamcha. GOLDEN! By FAR my favorite Anime EVER. (though I like American uncut a little more) Too bad it was availble at cartoon Network only at the start, which I didn't have, but later at Yorkiddin' for about 2 or 3 years.
Dragonball GT: American censored. Not quite as good as DBZ because of kiddie Goku, no Yamcha and hardly any Vegeta (VEGETA GOT A MUSTACHE AND LOST HIS FLAMING HAIR?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!) but still a topper. Pan is a bit of a weird girl and why are all members of the Son-family named after food? XD

In the past there were some Animes like Technoman, Macro One, Samurai Pizza Cats and Gundam Wing, but I never watched those. Heck, I was 10 when tehy were on.

Why I hate Jetix America is because they and WB are responsible for the censoring- and Jetix Europe bought and distributed the censored Animes to the country-Jetixes. (in my case Jetix Holland)
Well, I'm not totally honest here. Most Animes were broadcasted on Fox Kids Holland, and that was pretty sucky and commercial as well, but by far not as commercial as Jetix!

That was my little rant on Animes in the Netherlands... Rough Animes like Naruto, Death Note, Loveless and Bleach never reached us, same for Animes about homosexuality like Strawberry Panic. (To be honest (again) I hate Yaoi)

Dutch parents find Manga-style, even those of Go go! Quintuplets land! and Hamtaro agressive and offensive. Strangely enough they do let their kids watch "real movies" like Batman, Stargate, CSI, etc...

Hypocracy!

Well, I'm off to buy myself the newest YGO Manga, see you later! ^^

Look at Yu-Gi-Oh abridged and you will know why Bakura doesn't have a big role in the anime.
Well.... kinda.
Blogs: I got FFTA2!
Bands: Home Made Kazoku, Lemon Demon, Sum41, etc....

Heh, they skipped V-force and went straight for G-revolution here. G-rev is the best of the three, first I really watched of anime too.
Blogs: I won!

Wait, what's beyblade again?
Was it that thing with the tops and the giant monsters coming out of it?
Blogs: I got FFTA2!

Amen? o-o
Blogs: Fucking.
Bands: Silverstein, Autopilot off, Between the trees, etc.

I'm kinda lucky to have some, but most of them are the ones that are popular in America then translated to French... Naruto is the censored version during daytime, but the original one (which ''contains more violence'' is on at night)

That's why I use internet...

Pokemon started off good and then I got tired of it. I believe right after the silver/gold games came out, the series got lame and I never watched it again
Same for beyblade after like the second season. Same for yu-gi-oh actually too........

Shinzo is awesome! I have yet to see the entire series, but I've seen enough of the cool stuff to know it, well,uh....that it was cool
Digimon: Meh, no thanks
Metabots: Pretty cool, but I never got to see much of it before it was canceled/finished airing.
Hamtaro: I believe you summed it up best: "stupid anime"
Shin Chan: AWESOME! Still airing new episodes here in USA. Search youtube
DBZ: Really good for a while, but near the end it started to get a bit stale. GT was kinda lame overall IMO.

As for Gundam Wing that you missed (I also missed it on TV when it aired here on 'Toonami'): Find it on online! Pretty good! As is my other favorite Gundam series - G Gundam. Yes, the name is pretty lame, but whatever -__-
