This is the third post of the series about 4th job advancement of an I/L mage. This time you'll find out how to catch an Ice Demon (and I mean 'catch' as in 'a disease', not 'a monster'). Pictures are included.
It's good to have a friend too, because there goes a rumour that Blue Kentauri drop some thick frozen book. If you want to get it yourself, you'll have to use Seal and Thunder Spear extensively. (This goes for everyone who claims TS is useless.) But - hey! - you got it (pic). Why not ask Gritto what's in it?
1. Gritto sends you to Grendel, who sends you to Robeira, who sends you to Jeff the dungeon schweizer... I mean doorkeeper. Deja vu?.. At least you find out that the book contains a strange sentence about icy breath. (Is this a reference to Mynthon?) And that you have to break an ancient Ice stone to get it. (Mmkay.) And that this can only be done with a good hammer. (Figures.)
2. Vogen is a specialist in ice-breaking equipment, and he's ready to make you an Orihalcon Hammer, but it doesn't come cheap - you have to bring a Moon Rock, 2 Orihalcon Plates (easy this time) and 30 Ice Pieces from Grim Phantom Watches (another Seal-TS party). Here you go (pic).
3. You return to Jeff with a hammer, and he lets you in a room where Ancient Ice Stone is (pic). Don't you feel a little barbarian, standing near the beautiful stone with a big hammer in hand? Fortunately, I didn't even have to swing it - single click was enough to get Ancient Ice Powder (pic). (So it wasn't Mynthon after all.) Now... just swallow the powder, and that's it! You acquired an ability to poison monsters with cold, so that they tremble and feel sick. Moreover, now they're also prone to fire. It's good to have a friend, I told you .

'So now I'll have to party with F/P all the time? This map ain't big for both of us!'
Not necessarily. Read next section.
