2The music; what the hell happened to the epic battle music?
Now, half the time it's crap. Half classical, and half emo. I suppose it's suitable for certain quests and battles, but I'm hearing it half as much as battle music, and I shouldn't be. >:[ It might just be me though. :/ But that new auction music is so catchy. It's like half the reason i go to the auctions, the other half being the items.The battles are so freaking long and annoying now. And guess what I get for these blood-filled epic battles? A few rat pelts and like 1000 gil. -___- It takes me 15 minutes to crush those evil-doers and I get some crappy loot for the even crappier bazaar.
The bazaar is very... strange. I'd like to keep the idea of getting new items as the story progresses. You have to trade in rat pelts for crappy items that you most likely already have. And it's like freaking impossible to get items you want. I haven't been able to get a single ability-giving instrument yet. =.= I'm not really complaining, because I don't even care about the stupid shop anymore. It's all about abusing the auction system.
The auctions are easy as hell (or maybe I'm just pro) and you get all these good items. You can use that gay old cat guy's cabin to fast-forward to the next auction and repeat.
Apparently there are two new races; fat, ugly humanoid hippos and flying people. I can't say much because they both seem cool.
The new jobs all seem nice, but why the hell is the stupid tinker still here? That job is the worst. I should have made Montblanc a tinker just for the humiliation. And them kill him at Jagd.I also read somewhere you can't get rid of Montblanc in this game once you've recruited him. But I'm not sure about his sibling dude that you can also recruit. I don't know what is wrong with the developers; Montblanc is annoying and they still decide to keep him in the game? It is obvious they are completely aware what a gayass Montblanc is and they continue to annoy us with his dumb attitude. I thought Cid was going to be Montblanc's equivalent and I wouldn't have to see that stupid Moogle ever again. And some dude posted his stats on GameFAQs. I'm no pro, but I can tell Montblanc is crap.
And about Cid; wtf is he? I read somewhere he's a cat humanoid thingie, and it was in the instruction booklet. PSSH, who reads an instruction booklet? -.- When I first saw him, I just gagged. BTW, it's evident he is gay and attracted to the stupid main character, Luso. Why else would he save the annoying kid? It is so obvious it's not even funny. And that Addelle bitch; it's obvious Luso is attracted to her. Why else would he let her in the clan. And who does Addelle like? Nobody because there aren't any girl humans in my clan.
Oh, the laws. THE LAWS. Omfg. All I have to say is ">20 damage" They are trying to piss you off. >:o The thing is, if you don't break the law you get an extra rat pelt or something. And you need rat pelts for the gey bazaar or your stupid soldier isn't going to be an awesome dual-wielding paladin anytime soon.
Overall, a worthy sequel but some things just have to be changed.
