So, about a month ago, I asked my friends what they were doing this summer so that I could plan a day when we could all get together and play paintball.
June 28th was the day.
I went on vacation last week and thus could not contact the people and remind them.
I get in touch with them this week and over half of them can't come. =(
I mean come on! I told you about it a month ago. I told you not to forget. you were looking forward to it.
My one friend said that he would be available pretty much any day this summer because he would request off of work (he's a lifeguard)... guess what, he's working on Saturday. as is his girlfriend, who was originally very very excited to come.
So now, well, idk. Only one of my friends came through with scheduling the day off.
(I couldn't get a hold of some of my other friends)
Anyway, it bugs me. I thought for sure they would be able to come because they said they would... but now, it's like they don't care.
Well, as long as my other friend doesn't get drunk today and thus is hungover tomorrow, we'll all have fun. ... I should remind him not to drink tonight... not that it would make much of a difference. =/ that poor guy needs a girlfriend. lol
This only reminds me of why I don't make promises, they get broken too easily.

I think it would be wise to always put it in writing Make sure they mark it on their calendars, which doesn't sound like what your friends did and they kind of went "Sure sure, good idea" and forgot about it because there was no real details on it.

Eh. I had it on my calender. but the rest of them don't have calenders that they follow to put it down on. =/
My one friends method of finding out when she works is calling the day of and writing down her schedule on a piece of paper that she will undoubtably lose.
