What glitches? Besides having my .sav wiped, it's fine. D

Sweet Jesus, I just realized that it's already out now. O_O
I dunno, it got mixed reviews...
One from GameInformer, who obviously, didn't fall in love with the original FFTA and thought this one was more of the same. Review gave it like a 6/10. The other was from ign.com, who obviously, DID fall in love with the original, and to them, more of the same, DS-style, was good. They gave it a 9/10.
Me, I never played the original. My best course of action would probably be not to play this one, either.
(ugh, they need to unveil a DS 2 at E3 this year. DS is ok and all, but it reeally needs better graphics and higher-def screen. The fact is, that small, slightly-bigger-than-GBA screen makes it perfect for developers to take existing GBA junk and pretty much port it to DS. The DS would benefit a TON from not having such a low-definition screen, in that the games would be sharper, crisper, and impossible to make "GBA+" games on. And better graphics would help it SO well. the DS has the gameplay, but the bad 3-d and low-tech processor hold it back left and right. Just imagine playing 16-person online first-person shooters that didn't look bad from the graphical standards set 2 generations ago! And even MMOs might be possible with better hardware!)
(And not only that, but they could add more buttons. my idea is: d-pad on left, a-b-x-y on right. circular analog pad (can be pressed any direction, 360 degrees, and sense how hard you press it) on both sides, L on left, R on right, and Start and Select buttons. Then, the touch screen. In my idea, the top screen could be not only flipped up, but turned around. What you do is, when the top is flipped around to face backwards and then flipped down, it faces outward and the buttons aren't covered by it. That way, games that don't take advantage of 2 screens or the touch screen can be played as if it were a normal one-screen buttons-only handheld system.)

Yeah, I saw a lot of different reviews. I'm a big fan of the original advance, so I could care less what others thought. So far, I think this is a worthy sequel, although there are some things I'm not liking too much...
I dunno, I prefer sprites to 3D stuff. Still, the DS could benefit a lot if it had better graphics. The games that are in 3D... well, the graphics look so choppy and distorted. It hurts my eyes.
I've never really thought of the next handheld, but yeah; in some games, two screens is useless. In many, all they do is put some random info on the top screen to keep the bottom one from getting crowded. Kind of convenient, but it's also weird to have so much going on in one screen, and nothing in the other. And some games that DO choose to use both screens for gameplay suffer from the evil blind spot in between the two. Sometimes I ask myself if two screens was a good idea. Isn't a touch screen innovative enough? >:[

Haven't beaten it. LOLWUT. Yeah, took a huge break from it. There are lots missions, or "QUESTS" to do, and they get kind of repetetive. I hate how the story ones always leave you hanging and you want to advance it but there are too many normal missions out and by the time you're finished those you forgot what happened previously.
