The Deadly Black Widow -

As we were taking down the pool in my backyard, I noticed there was a spider in one of the posts. Upon closer inspection, I saw the tell-tale red hourglass...
We carefully took the post out of the ground (which was kind of hard, because there was steel connecting it with the rest of the posts), and then put it inside a container. We snapped a few shots, and then put it to sleep (can't blame us for not wanting to release something like that into the wild). Strange, they said Black Widows aren't in this part of NJ...
