Well, guess what, yesterday was my valedictory.
My school/grad is special because we're the very first graduating class of our new school, Steveston-London, which is basically 2 schools, Steveston and London, combined. Long story, but just know that our hallways are crowded. If you thought your hallway of 1000 students was crowded, you haven't seen crowded.
Anyways, our grad class is roughly 300 students, we're considered the biggest grad class in our entire district, and for 4 more years to come. But because we're First, we're special.
Yeah, I was nervous. You only graduate once out of highschool, unless you failed, but anyways, lol, I was scared and excited at the same time. I felt like a penguin in the gown and...I felt sad.
Looking at all of us there, even though I didn't know 1/4 of the people gradding with me, I see all these faces that I saw in gr.8, and my entire highschool life, and no matter how crappy the days were in highschool...somehow this came too fast. Somehow.
Anyways, I didn't trip. No one did. :] I planned that if I did I would face the stage and say "I'M THE FIRST TO TRIP!" and just keep going, laughing.
Me and my other friend wore converse. Mine was black, his was bright red, but he's a real comical/animated guy, and I love his enthusiasm and confidence in everything he does. It's like he literally stepped out of a cartoon.
It's been a short 5 years...
I wish all Grads of O8 best of luck in the future.
*Eh..i would upload pics..but...300,000 bytes is hard to keep in, and I'm too dam lazy to convert and crop and stuff...

Experiencing high school ending is special enough but to be the first class makes it even more thought provoking. Grats to you and the rest of 08ers and get ready for the next shitstorm known as college eheheheheheh.

Heck, I know how you feel. I myself graduated twice on two different levels. (where I live we don't have highschool) I gathered up e-mail adresses both times, but lost contact nevertheless... And I was going to miss my school, with which I was having a strange love-hatred relationship.
I was very anxious as to whether I'd make friends (on the second level when I graduated the first time and on unioversity when I graduated the second time), but at university I made some good friends. It's just too bad one of them is going to live in Liverpool, while I live in a Dutch town called Leiden....
Congratulations on graduating.  Altogether it ook me 8 years rather than the usual 4, 5 or 6. 
Bands: No bands, but Rolf Koster, Uwe Kroger, Addo Kruizinga (as Rudolf and Death)
I'm graduating next week.
Somehow, I'm happy it is finally over because I couldn't bear high school anymore. I have great memories such as when I met my girlfriend, my new friends and stuff, but too many things made my 5 years of high school suck.
