Leveled and killed a cake -

I was bored this morning and decided to play Maple again

Turns out last time I played I logged off at 95%, so I went to FoG and started training. Around 98%, at 9:15 in the morning, a Sin came into my map (I solo across entire FoG maps if I can) and started KS'ing me. 9:15. There were maybe 3 other people currently playing Maple. There's gonna be an open channel. But no, he has to be an ass. I didn't feel like dealing with that crap, so I just changed to the very next channel, which just happened to be empty, and continued training. So I leveled to 82, and decided to go back to Sleepy.
When I get there, I find a giant cake walking around an empty channel, so I decide to kill it. I'm attacking it for maybe 10 minutes, and a 5x Ice Wizard comes along and starts helping, but he's barely doing anything to it. Then a low level Sin comes and tells me it has 51 million HP. ...... I'm in for a long morning. So I'm attacking it, but I shortly have to stop to go help my dad with the addition we're putting on our house. 10 minutes later I come back to find two 7x Hermits attack it, and we party. The Wizard leaves pretty soon, and it's just the three of us. I'm on and off in 10 minute intervals a few times, and every time I come back its still there.
So now the three of us are still fighting, we're past its 3rd summon. The wizard comes back, amazed that we're still fighting, and decides to Smega that the cake is there. Many people arrive shorty after, we party a few. We've been attacking it since forever ago, so we're still gonna get the drops, so I'm just glad its gonna die sooner. Then I get called outside to help my dad again, so I ask my party members to save a maple item for me if it dies. I'm kinda pissed about having to leave, but hope the cake will still be there when I come back. ...Well, it wasnt. I ask what the cake dropped, hoping to get something. I ask what it dropped, they say a Lama staff. I wait a moment, then ask, confused, "Was that it?" Yep. One drop. Friggen rip off. What a waste of time. But, I had fun fighting it, and I guess thats what Maple is about: Having fun over excessively long periods of time.
