My Purpose, My Possession~ -

I originally was writing up another blog for this, but I decided to keep it for later. I guess I had a change of heart within the last few days. Anyways, on with the show.

I finally hit 120. After near 11 months of playing I finally reached a substantial goal. I never in a million years thought I'd ever get this far. I didn't even expect to get to 80. That being my first goal, to use a Heaven's Gate. First thing I did after hitting 120 was go to Leafre to talk to the job instructor. He said I wasn't ready for the advancement. Scott had forgotten to tell me that you have to talk to your third job instructor first f3. So I go to Nath and talk to him, go back to Leafre and talk to the other guy, and now I'm off to hunt a Griffey and Manon.

This was worse than I thought it would be, and I thought it would be bad ~_~. So I start with Griffey, and I catch BSUCLA just as he's killing the last one. I asked him if he had just finished clearing the channels and he confirmed it. So I was going to hunt me a Manon to wait for the Griffey spawn. First Manon went by smoothly, except the asshole didn't drop my Pentagon. The second one is an entirely different story. I walk into a channel, totally empty, full health Manon in there, and I'm thinking pretty positively at this point. WRONG MOTHER FUCKER. Some prick ass Hero walks in and decides he wants to KS me. Man this pissed me off so goddamn much. Words cannot express the sheer anger I felt at that point. After he killed it, his party member was like "Theres a second one, take it", BUT I COULDN'T FUCKING SEE IT CAUSE THEY DIDN'T PARTY ME. I mean Jesus Christ who just walks in on someone freshly 120 and Kses them when they know that this other person is trying to get something for 4th. That guy can seriously burn in hell.

Anyways, I continue looking through channels and found a third one. This time Debbie/Scott/Angie came with me to help it go by faster. Unfortunately it didn't drop, and then my internet dropped. I guess I was somewhat lucky it did, because at this point I was ready to give up and go buy that damn scroll. I was about to throw something. I log on two hours later to try my luck again. This time wasn't so bad. I ran into a 120 Priest at Griffey, so we partied to help each other. Got my Star on the first Griffey and his on the second. Then we went to Manon to get the Pentagon. First two that we killed didn't drop any, but the third dropped both of ours. Its was pretty nice, to actually meet a nice person in this game. I swear to god courtesy is near non-existant in this fucking game.

By the time I had gotten these things, it was 4am and everyone except Angie had logged off. I figured I'd just wait till the next day to make the advancement. I ZPQ'd a few times and logged off. Scott was all "Dude I thought you were going to make the advancement anyways and be like "Fuck those guys if they log off I'm gonna advance anyways""

. So I log on the next day and mosey over to the 4th job instructor and wait for anyone who wants to come see me advance. Its kind of weird, while I was waiting, my feelings totally changed. I went from extremely happy to depressed. The whole thing felt awkward almost as if it was a chore for some of the people to be there. And on top of that, something felt like it was missing. It sure as hell was to. Despite having people there, I felt lonely and isolated. I was borderline of saying "Thanks for coming anyways, but I'm not going to advance" and just log off. That was seriously the first time I actually contemplated quitting. I honestly didn't want to be on anymore. Just felt as if I was causing everyone problems, and it would be easier on everyone if I just left. John finally arrives and I'm ready to make the advancement. I decided the least I could do was advance, after coming this far. I talk to the job instructor and TOTALLY miss the SS of the advancement. I was hoping Scott or someone else got a good shot, and he did. It was weird, after I advanced, I felt happier. Not because I was finally a Hero, but because everyone around me genuinely felt happy for me. I put my first point in Brandish, followed by my second. I couldn't stop going on about HOW DAMN SEXY IT WAS! Seriously, it was every bit as good as it was on Chris' account. Obviously not in terms of power, but I felt just as beastly using it >=O.

Scott immediately offers to do my Rush quest with me, so I'm like YUS. I get to Perion, talk to Manji, VIP to sleepywood park and walk down to the sanctuary. Scott and I get in there and immediately get to work. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. And it seemed to go by really fast. We had the 200 killed in 9 minutes. It was my first real test of Brandish and I'm not going to lie, I was adding up those numbers every time I used it. I go to my inventory to use a return scroll and see a book in there. It was Maple Warrior >_>. So I use it and BAM new skill for me. Go back to Manji and get Rush, BAM moar skills. It was srsly like a double wammy. After this, Scott just insisted on taking me to FoG. He was all "You have not experienced rush until you have gone to FoG." He was so right. I got there and it was so awesome

. Halfway through it went from Rush Party to KS WAR. Scott still kses me thar f3.

SO! I haven't Papped in for-freaking-ever so I decided to drag Scott along with me. He didn't really have a choice in the matter. Angie and Christina were going to come with us, so it was pretty awesome. As I was doing Angie's Pap quests, Christina says shes lagging to much and leaves the party, so it was only us three now. We get GM bless, and head back to fight pap. 10 minutes of it got wasted because we had to walk back down/fight Thans for a Beholder quest item. After that, we get in and seal Pap, and we're good to go. Everything goes great until like 20% in Angie dies =/. At this point Scott is all "Omg dude are we still doing this?". There is no way in hell I'm forfeitting my firest Pap run as a Hero, so I encourage him to stick with it. I mean we did it at like 109 we can do it at 120! With GM bless and rush, it was pretty fucking sexy. We were able to keep him cornered and it seemed like his health was going down real fast. It only took us about an hour in total to do, GM bless barely ran out as we killed first body. We basketed/chewed right before killing first body, and we were set. Second body was a piece of cake. Unfortunately we didn't get anything of real value for killing him, aside from the sheer satisfaction. All in all it was a good day ^_^.
