__________________________________________________________________________ Christian banged against the walls in vain, the room was filling with water fast, he knew that they had probably built this room to be impenetrable, but his will to get out was still strong. "Damn it!" His hands were covered in blood, the walls of this room were like sand paper. He sighed as the water rose above his chest. "I'm doomed....." The water kept pooring in from all sides, he felt the last few weeks flash before his eyes. He remembered Megan's warm skin touch against him again. "Damn it......." He continued pounding at the walls, "I'm to young to die!" This phrase had always seem so cliche to him and thought it only occurred on TV shows, but it made more sense now that he was near death. "I want to live damn it!" The past few weeks were the happiest of his life, he wanted to be back in it badly. He saw the grates that the water was pooring out of. One word occurred to him now. Hope. _________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1 __________________________________________________________________________ "Maybe if you stopped day dreaming and actually worked you wouldn't be so stupid." Christian was always tired of his father lecturing him about things like that, though he didn't like anything about his family. They had even defiled him with the name of their damn religion, he had always hated religion, finding it to be nothing but worthless hope. "Are you listening to me?" Christians father was always self conscious about himself, he felt that he had to be noticed at all times. "Well not like theres anything outside thats more interesting than you." Christians hate for his family was somehow unnoticed by them, though he always had insulted them. "Well your choice i guess, though I'm looking forward to dump your ass at this school." Christian had always found his father swearing ironic, though its not like anyone observed their religion in this world. Christian continued to stare out the window. A building in the middle of a valley caught his eye. "This the place?" His father nodded "get out of the car, get your things and get out, ill be back in a couple of months for Christmas." Christian got out of the car, his long hair blew fiercely in the wind. His scarf and tight clothes kept his body warm, he got his stuff and watched the car disappear in the distance. He began walking in the direction of the school, a horse walked up to him and raised its front hooves as if to intimidate him. He pet it lightly and started walking again. He felt a blunt thunk on his head and fell to the ground, everything went black. ____________________________________________________________________________ Christian awoke in a light room painted pink, the bed under him was extremely comfortable and he felt like he had been asleep for days. He stuttered his first thought, "W-where a-am I?" The voice that replied was light and flowing, the sound lulled Christians eyes to the point were he thought he might fall back asleep, "Your at a private country high school for girls." A short girl with dark brown hair, probably 13 or 14, came into view of Christian, her posture suggested that she was worried about him. "One of the wild horses hit you pretty hard, i found you in the grass bleeding so here you are in my room." Christian had already felt a throbbing in his head, he reached a hand back there and found that he was still bleeding, another part of the girls explanation didn't surprise him though, his dad probably couldn't resist sending him to a school miles from civilization, knowing that it was girls only. He had never thought of it before but his long hair and scarf actually were a good thing now. But at the moment the only thing he could think of was, "What the Fuck is wrong with you, you didn't even bandage my head!" He had remembered to mask his voice, though his volume control didn't seem appropriate for it. The girl backed up, scared that he had raised his voice so loud. "Well actually.....a nurse is on her way, she was busy when i took you to her..." Her voice was filled with sincerity and kindness, though there was a hint of fear still in it. Christians mind reasoned with him, she did give up her own bed after all, and he could tell he probably ruined the pillows and sheets with all the blood. "sorry..." This time he forgot to mask his voice, but he had mumbled it and had been lulled back to sleep by her voice. _____________________________________________________________________________ Christian woke up again and this time a girl much taller with black hair was next to him, she was wearing overalls and a green shirt, "The nurse was to occupied so she sent me instead. " Her voice was deeper than the other girls, and she seemed more confident to. "My names Emily, I'm the mechanic for the school." Christian took a double take, the girl only looked 16 and like a student, yet she acted like she was a teacher or adviser. "My names Christian." His voice was to weak to sound deep, it ended up sounding like a girls with no effort. He touched the back of his head and felt a metal plate. "What did you do to me!?" The girl looked at him, her eyes filled with disbelief, "I put a metal plate over your skull and stitched the back of your head up." Christians head still hurt like hell, but now he only felt a large bruise, the sheets and pillow had been changed, he felt more comfortable and again drifted back to sleep. He awakened again and saw the brown haired girl, sitting next to him. "Whats your name?" She seemed like she had never left his side, that confused him sufficiently considering Emily had apparently preformed surgery or ahd dug into his head with a drill but he didn't mind. "It's Christian." He remembered to mask his voice still, he was glad he had a name that worked for both genders. "Mines Megan, nice to meet you." Again her voice lulled him to sleep, he would have to work on getting use to talking to her. He had actually been awake most of the night later, and he had just kept his eyes closed and breathing light. He felt someone else crawl into the bed, trying carefully to try not to wake him, and soon he heard a light breathing on his neck, it comforted him to not be alone in a place he didn't belong in. ____________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2 "Hey wake up!" Christian felt another loud thump on his head. He jerked up in pain and found a wrench laying next to him. "Why did you hit me with a wrench!?!?!?" He screamed at Emily, he was getting use to masking his voice and felt that it shouldn't be hard to spend a few months here, possibly very enjoyable to. "Thats just her way of waking us up.....she wont bother to make an alarm clock so she just beats us with things till we get up." Megan slouched in her bed as if this regular. At this point only one thing occurred to him. "Why the hell were you sleeping with me!?!" The shrieking didnt even need to be masked due to how high pitched it was. She looked at him with eyes that had no questions or curiosity at all and said, "This is my bed remember? do you have anything wrong with sleeping with me?" At this he blushed intensely and hid his face under the sheets. Never in his life was he so glad to hide his face with something. Emily threw another wrench at Megan and Christian. "Get up we have classes today!" Megan tackled Christian to the floor both of them avoiding the wrench. "We're awake aren't we?" IT seemed like a great dream to Christian, being locked in a all girls school being the only male, it made him feel better then he had in all of his short life. His eyes dropped down to the girl on top of him, getting a better look at her he found her very attractive, and he found it nearly impossible that he had slept with a girl as beautiful as this one. "Alright classes start in a hour can we start breakfast?" Emily was already dressed and had showered, "Please?" Megan got off of Christian and started going through a suitcase quickly tossing clothing around the room. Christian got up and went into the rooms kitchen, it was fairly big and had many materials for cooking. He got pans out and quickly started making bacon and pancakes. Both Emily and Megan stared at there plates in awe and Emily checked her watch astounded. "How did you make that so fast?" Christian was sitting across from them quietly eating the meal he had made. "I use to cook a lot with my mom. She taught me a lot of things about frying and cooking, cant say I'm very good at it though." Again the two girls across from him stared at him with disbelief. Then they looked at each other and smiled slowly. They screamed in unison, "We have our own chef!" Both of them we're dancing around the room at this point. "No more cafeteria food!" Emily seemed most ecstatic about this. They all finished their meals and put them away in the dishwasher. Emily again looked at her watch, they had about three minutes to get to class. She looked at Megan with fearful eyes, "We're going to be late for theology!" Christian, who was still fully dressed in the same clothes from yesterday, darted out the door with them. They ran out on a balcony and although he didn't have much time to look the view over the valley from five stories high was simply amazing, and there was a heard of wild horses roaming about the fields. He quickly looked back to Emily and Megan and had to run full speed to catch them. They ran into a room just as a large rather pudgy old man was about the close the door. "And who might this young lady be?" _______________________________________________________________________________ Megan answered quickly, "Shes a knew student who came in yesterday, her name is Christian." The teacher had a smile curve across his face, cutting it in half, "Ah, what a coincidence isn't it? We're actually studying our own religion today, Christianity." This time a smirk ran across Christians face, he loved to plant doubt in the idiots who believed in such a cult. "Oh joy." He felt he would enjoy this school more then before. The teachers fat face swung as he turned and looked for an open seat for Christian, "Next to Megan is an open seat, i assume you know her?" "Yes sir." Christian walked to the seat lightly and sat down. "Now Christian, my name is Mr. Paul and I am the theology teacher at this establishment and i expect no trouble from you." The teachers face swung more when he looked from student to student. Christian thought he saw Lust and evil in some of his stares at the young girls. "Today we are going to look at Christianity, the most holy religion on the planet, as you all know, I myself am a heavily studied Christian, i read the bi-" Christian stood up and said with a hint of malice, "Excuse me but i thought this was about religion not what religion you are and how practiced you are in it. Also, i would like to point out that all of the 'holy' religions, like Christianity, have caused some of the most violent slaughterings and battles in history." Christian sat down satisfied with what he had said, all students in the room looked at him with disbelief, but Mr. Paul's face had turned into a dark purple. He lunged at Christian who casually slipped out of his seat and let Mr. Paul crash into his desk. "Devil Spawn!" Mr. Paul had seemed furious but now he was sure to be fired for attacking a student. Christian stood next to an huge window, that stretched from the ceiling to the floor. "Well your quite the prideful one about your religion," Mr.Paul charged at Christian with a new kind of lust in his eyes, an angry one demanding blood Christian stepped slightly to his right and Mr.Paul crashed through the window, "but pride comes before the fall." All eyes in the classroom Stared at Christian with more disbelief. Luckily for Mr Paul they were only on the second floor when he went into a rage. Many of the girls looked at their teacher, who was now crying loudly on the sidewalk below. Megan looked at Christian with disbelief. "Our teacher almost killed you...." She threw herself at him, "I don't want my chef to die!" Christian couldn't help but laugh at that, she was only worried about his cooking skills being gone. The rest of the day seemed like it would be a long one, the principle of the school had called Christian to her office, pleading that he wouldn't sue the school for the teachers rage. All he asked for though was more cooking supplies and some materials for Emily to work with. After stepping out of the Principles office and with a new schedule in hand, he couldn't help but wonder while walking to his next class, he couldn't help but wonder if he was the cause of that incident. He decided one thing, it was the teachers, he must of lost faith considering he was the one who almost died. ______________________________________________________________________ Chapter 3 Christian had asked for the same schedule as Megan, the principle granted this knowing all to well that he would win any lawsuit. He walked to his next class, psychology. That was a class he knew he wouldn't cause an incident in, he was a mental attacker, he broke down people he didn't like with small insults that ate at them until they go insane. He walked into the class room, class was already half way through and the teacher was lecturing when he came in. "And so that is vy people are so much wisely taken down mentally and emotionally, the human brain will do anything to ve the superior one, that is why it is important to vuse it wisely." The womans accent was heavily German, this was a teacher that he could relate with. She seemed to be cruel and understanding at the same time, she looked at him with gentle eyes. "Vell young lady, you are late but sit down, we were about to start todays lesson." ___________________________________________________________________________ Time passed quickly in that class, all of what the teacher said seemed like common knowledge to him. He walked out of the classroom next to Emily and Megan, "So....i heard Mr. Paul is going to be okay, he just has fractures in his arms legs and collar bones, they did stick out of the skin though." Megan seemed kind of worried but also seemed like she was just trying to start a conversation. Christian slightly smirked, he supposed that the teachers "God" didn't protect him, it would be even funnier if he still was positive twords religion after that. "I frankly wished that he had broken his neck and back when he fell, guess his fat protected him, but hey thanks for giving us more free time in the morning, no more theology." Emily was intensely happy about what Christian did. She looked at her watch, "Well we have two hours for lunch and whatever else, what do we wanna do?" Christian felt this as an opportunity to get more points with Megan, "I can make you two lunch." They walked back to their room in silence, the valley seemed even more beautiful now that Christian got a better look at it. The gusts in the valley gave the grass a distinctive beauty, it seemed perfect, most of the world felt like there was an evil watching everything, here this was still true, but the beauty distracted people from it. The door was still open from when they rushed to theology class, they all walked in and Christian began making a heavenly pasta. They ate in silence until Megan said something. Her eyes were fixed on her food as she spoke. "Christian, id just like to say that i found what you did in theology class was pretty cool, also the fatty falling out of the window was hilarious." Emily stared at her, "Ive never seen you so cruel," her eyes were now hopeful, "I like it." Christian was fairly pleased as well, he expected her to be horrified by what he had done, but her actually enjoying it made him hopeful. He would probably have even more incidents in the first few weeks, they finished their meal after that conversation Emily started to fiddle with some mechanics for the next hour, Megan and Christian both talked for a while. But eventually Emily started out the door, "Come on Christian, we have class now." "Which one?" Christian honestly didn't care that much but he wanted to know if he could cause anymore trouble. "Archery." That didn't bother him to much, but it would. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ | |
