Chain Reaction -

This poem's probably a little confusin. It's about a guy who commits suicide. The 1st stanza is in his point of view, the 2nd his parents, the 3rd his friends, the 4th by one friend in particular, and the 5th as a narrators perspective.

Chain Reaction

What is there left?
But loneliness and despair
No one seems to have the time
To talk or listen to me.
The shadows come up,
Off the walls,
And come to greet me.
Willingly, I embrace them.

What have you done?
Why did you do it?
Was it something we did?
Who would’ve thought
We would be
So busy
So busy; to forget about you?
Our last words run through our minds,
Why can’t you be better?

What did you do?
What drove you to do it?
Was it something we said?
We were too busy,
Busy with school,
Busy with other things
And forgot about you,
But now who can forget
A single thing
That happened to us with you.

You never knew,
But I cared.
I was too shy
To speak up
And tell you that I cared
Who would’ve thought
That I was in love with you
But it doesn’t matter now
You’ll never know
That I brush away tears.

Friend by friend,
The grief sets in
The story of this,
Going throughout the world,
With a single message.
But as the grief finally sets in
The world can see.
One thing can spark
A Chain Reaction.
