Hamlet - Discontinued -

The point of this series was to attract people to the story of Hamlet. It's an amazing plot, and I felt as if Shakespeare should not be limited to high school, but to younger kids as well. As luck would have it, no one really cares.

Sure, I know that at least 60+ people click the "like" button each issue, but that's not my point. I'm finding that the vast majority of people (not ALL people) that click that button, or leave comments, are people who've read the play before.

Now isn't that surprising? Not really. My goal was to make Hamlet interesting for everyone. It seems it's only interesting for the people who know the story. What's the point in that? It's like preaching the Gospel to the saved, like giving food to the people who don't live in poverty. That was not my intention at all.

Yes, Hamlet is a mature play, but it's not as gory as Macbeth, etc. It's a wonderful plot too. Anyone could enjoy it. It's just that my goal in this comic was to get more people to read the play, but it's not working. There are a few people who've I introduced Hamlet to, and THANK YOU for reading my comics, and I'm sorry to do this to you, but really - if the vast majority of people who read my series already read Hamlet before...it's just wasting my time, and your time.

Again, I'm sorry to do this to the one or two or three or four people who was introduced to Hamlet through my comics. You can find the play online to read, and it is more worthwhile to read that instead of my series.

But, until further notice (or never at all), Hamlet is discontinued.
