When people say "get a life" what is their idea of life? Breathing? Walking? No The majority of people who say this are referring to playing sports and going outside. >.> They are just taking what they do and consider "life" and forcing their opinions on others, until eventually they think it's fact and is a part of reality. How is playing on the computer any different than playing outside? It isn't, besides the actions that are being performed and possible objectives. The people who use this as an insult have some insecurity issues and are stuck in their own world.
